Be as truthful and genuine on your customs entry card, if you're unsure of something, declare it. Worst case is customs will take it away which is much better than the ~$500 fine.

Brisbane airport is tiny. If you're coming on Singapore Airlines, you're likely to arrive in the morning - it's winter here and windy this past week, make sure you all have jumpers on your carry on.

Indo Tucker on Logan Rd, where Top In Town is now... Best and cheapest Indonesian food back then - $6.80 for a full feed (15yrs ago though)

Similar issue, started happening today for me. Garmin 245 Music, Garmin Connect and Samsung Android phone.

Watching this thread closely..

Yes! Thank you! They all sound the same, have the same theme... What makes it worse is my wife and kids absolutely love her songs.....rip

If I was single, I'd probably do all that and sneak it push bike rides everyday.

Mate... Why you gotta do this now.. I'm lying here, after putting my 2 girls to bed (7F and 5F), and now more than anything else I want to go back and give them more cuddles.

As a dad, I could feel every word you posted and I just..can't..never really thought about having to go through that moment in the future.

Raising a glass for you mate...

Seconded! Few of us don't drink, but even without a drink, we all seemed to have had a good time.

Oofff yeah definitely felt like one of those moments could have happened

Southside bistro, sunnybank has a very nice vibe. Not sure about Monday night dinner though.

Kangaroo hopping onto the road headed straight for our peloton in suburban Brisbane. He came to about a metre head on to me (I was heading the peloton at the time) before both me and him swerved away from each other. I almost skidded, he scampered - nails scratching the tarmac.

I'm all for new political parties challenging the status quo, but what I don't want is a dilution end result of a sell on to the big coalitions again..

Exactly. And not just most, a high majority of people in KB are practicing Malay Muslims.

Who is this hurting? The non Muslim minorities wouldn't have a problem - they know their place in Kelantan for sure. It's the people outside the state who are getting triggered for no real reason, except to be contrarian.

Well said... I too initially thought it is overkill to have Islamic phrases like that on the road, but honestly it is sobering as a Malay Muslim to take things down a notch. When I see kalimah2 like that, inadvertently I would read it aloud and it helps put things in perspective. Thank you for helping to educate others.

Test out many bikes at your local bike shops to get an idea of your size and fit. Don't buy brand new, hit FB marketplace, Craigslist etc. Brand wise - some brands are more prevalent dependent where you are.

Here in Australia = Meridas, BMC and Giants/Livs have the best bang for your buck due to their extensive distribution channels.

In the UK, I've heard Canyons are good value.

In the US, maybe Specialized and Trek?

Outsider looking in from Australia.

This seems like a momentous occasion globally - that justice eventually prevailed (some at least for now) and that America may return to being the beacon of hope for justice, freedom and equality. I had regarded the US as the yardstick to compare other democracies against, but sadly that had all been slipping since 9-11 (and especially during Trumps reign and Bernie's loss). For the first time in those many years, I'm starting to feel more optimistic about the American qualities in the US.

Alhamdulillah - I'm sure it will not be an easy journey ahead still, but may Allah make it easy for you.

"Carbon bikes and wheels are for pros, amateurs who spend more than $1k on a bike are kidding themselves.."

I'm like you now, "I don't need a power meter" and "I'm never gonna spend more than $5k on a bike".. We'll see....

From my wife's experience with our first one and other friends around us, the first one is almost always near the estimated due date or after (requiring induction). Our first one was born on the due date itself (40 weeks!), but it was a long labour (4+kg). Our second one was induced at 38 weeks as they were worried she was getting too big, came out just under 4kg.

My advice? Do plan in case bubs comes out earlier (i.e. by 36 weeks have the go bag ready, make sure hubby is reachable and attentive, don't plan on going anywhere far) so that you don't stress if bubs comes out early. It will all be fine.

Wow didn't know this is a thing! Thanks for that, will look into it.

Sending lots of love for you - 2-3 years of exhaustion is worth it and nothing compared to the lifelong bonds you will have with them and between themselves.

We were in our 34 when 4F was born (late 30s now) but big sis 7F was a great help! And we did it isolated from family (living overseas away from our family), with mum back at work after the 4F was 9months old. But we did have a village around us with their godparents nearby, friends, doctors, daycare etc.

This 100 times! Now that my babies are bigger, their first 2-3 years or exhaustion is 1000% worth it for the young ladies they've become.

Hahaha yes! That factored into my decision for the Roam over the Bolt too - eyes get too squinty looking at the maps.

Love my Roam V2, and it's heaps for the sort of amateurish riding I do.

I did months of research, waited for sales etc. I ended up getting Wahoo Roam on Facebook marketplace and it changed my riding style and habit.

Omg that's so adorable but 11/10 I would freak out if those cats did that to me - 110% sure I was about to be their lunch..
