Husband: Why don't you let me know when you have an orgasm?

Wife: I don't like to bother you when you're at work.

I honestly don't know if you can get one without a prescription.

It took me a week or two to get used to it. But now I love it. I sleep much better than I used to. I love the feeling of having air pumped into my face, and my wife sleeps better because I don't snore. I'm not even sure I still have apnea because I can sleep without it... but I'll never stop.

In all fairness, I should note that my stepfather hated it, and opted for some kind of E-N-T surgery instead... which he loved.

Do you really not understand the concept of a primary election? Because I'm happy to explain it to you.

Several different Republicans run against each other. One of those Republicans will be the winner. The rest of those Republicans are the losers. The person who won the Republican primary, while being a Republican, is not the one that Paxton et al wanted to win. So they, the supporters of the losing candidate, are claiming fraud.

Do you understand now? They didn't win. Ergo there is no way they can be said to "refuse to accept their own win".

For the last time...

It's a primary election.

If I voted for Dean Phillips in the Democratic Primary, and Joe Biden wins, you're saying I should be happy because, even though my candidate lost, a Democrat still managed to win the Democratic Primary?

Because that is what happened here.

Paxton and Abbott are not celebrating our complaining about the fact that a Republican won the Republican Primary. They are complaining that their preferred candidate lost. They are not "refusing to accept their own win" because they didn't win.

The only possible way you can call this situation "a win" is if you believe that a Democrat has the chance to win the Republican primary. And if you do, then I'm not the one with the reading comprehension issues.

It was a Republican primary. The winner was going to be a Republican no matter who won. To say "it was still their win" is no different than saying "somebody else won the Westminster Dog Show, but it was a dog, so it's still a win." It's not a win. Their candidate lost.

If, as you agree, they didn't win, then how does this qualify as "refuse to accept their own win"?

Because the title is "Texas gop refuses to accept their own win."

And nowhere has anybody provided any indication that the winner of this election is complaining about "their own win." Only the loser.

A republican winning an election that only featured republicans should not be a surprise to anybody. If all of the candidates are republicans then a republican is going to win the election. There is still a winning candidate, who is apparently happy, and a losing candidate who is crying fraud.

The headline clearly says "Texas GOP refuses to accept their own win." Where is the winner complaining?

This isn't /r/politics. This is Leopards Ate My Face.

So what exactly makes it "their own win"? Can you find at least one sentence where the winner of the primary election is complaining?

Here's a free hint -- the state's #2 GOP official supported the losing candidate

Did you bother reading the article?

First, it was the republican primary, so of course a republican won.

Second, as I said the first time, Paxton supported his opponent.
