How many miles/what trail head do I follow to get up to summit going up ski hut and down devils backbone? Gonna go summit for the first time and this route sounds cool!

Used only 1 time on an overnight trip and made the mistake of not staking down during first pitch properly and a strong wind knocked the trekking pole over and it ripped a small hole in the rain fly. I patched it with a silnylon repair kit and verified that it fully repels water. Will include the original stake kit and the Durston Gear groundsheet ($48 MSRP).

Get an altaplex if you’re solo. Great for tall people even greater for shorter folk. Super light and only requires 1 tent pole. Get the orange version for extra strong DCF.
I agree. It’s pretty sad I feel like if people were open to smiling at strangers and being smiled at by strangers (in safe conditions of course) there’d be less judgements and tension out there
