Having to pay child support for 21 years for kids I had at 16. 1/4 of my take home pay.
I spent a lot of winters pushing my car to a roll and hopping in and popping the clutch to get through intersections lol. Was brutal to get started without spinning the tires when the roads are polished up at stop signs/lights.
It stung me so hard when my review was 2/5 for attendance, 5/5 for everything else. Hadnt missed a single day all year, put in for overtime every week, stayed late when needed, used my adhd powers for good but all they remembered were the 6-7 times I was late. now if I’m gonna be late I’ve called in and took a personal day. I don’t do work during the morning meetings (parts look up/ordering) and I don’t start anything after 3pm so I have time to do my paperwork and work orders/clean up at end of day and bet your ass I’m lined up at the time clock as soon as anyone else starts the line. Set alarm clocks on my work phone to keep me going for breaks on time and shutting down on time.

Me and my wife also tried phoning over and over again to the company, as I’m a heavy equipment technician and she a commercial bus driver and we couldn’t get through. But we observed basically the same. Large heavy water or sewer looking truck who was riding the middle lane but couldn’t keep it there just constantly drifting halfway over the lane on both sides. But haha same day different truck the truck I saw was big sky unit 204.
I’m currently hyper fixated on truck campers, but my truck is to small so DIY 1/2 ton camper truck. Or possibly a tear drop trailer lol
Child support up there under housing, met a lot of people who had shitty jobs cause there license got taken away for being behind. When you make 80k a year driving, it sure sucks stocking shelves at Walmart and biking to work.
Right I hear ya man, I can rip people a new one telling them to be here at x time or I won’t be available again until y and if they miss me at y time I’ll be putting it in formally and shutting it down until I can get to it and can manage that for 30+ pieces of equipment, two three weeks out. But I can’t book a doctors appointment, I’ll show up late to said appointment, even though I had to go without my meds for a week waiting to get in to see doc.

Anyone have a idea where to go to get something inspected thoroughly, I am a certified heavy equipment technician and I want my 99 Chevrolet 1500 inspected from a non biased party (I love my truck it has emotional attachments) but I’m in the works of converting it for use with a truck camper and would like to bang all the repairs out before I start on the camper. Basically I want a thorough inspection, no need to call bullshit repairs/up sales cause I’m gonna fix it myself.

Avoid collective waste solutions, they are difficult to deal with and the owner is a tool. Prices are good if you don’t mind waiting to be dumped over more important customers.
