Please continue to post as this baby grows up.

Ours was brown but yours is such a lovely shade of avocado.

Scroll down for the specs of the standard 18043. It comes with a standard weight body. (If you held a reverse leadpipe horn in your hands you would feel the difference in weight between that a regular bach strad.)

The reverse leadpipe horns come standard with the lightweight body and standard weight bell. The regular leadpipe horns come standard with the standard weight body and bell.

You can order a lightweight version of regular leadpipe horn. It will be identified by the star on the bell.

The Bach 180 series trumpets are the number one selling professional trumpets in the world. The LR180 series feature lightweight bodies with standard weight one-piece hand-hammered professional bells and reversed #25LR leadpipes. This unique construction offers the quick response of a lightweight model with less resistance from the reverse leadpipe and the projection of a standard weight #43 bell. The clear lacquer finish provides a subtle warmth to the overall sound. The LR18043 with a .459" medium-large bore gives a player a more open feel with slightly more control and a vivid response resulting in an instrument that is well suited for all types of music.

The star on the bell is for a lightweight horn and bell. The reverse lead pipe models have a lightweight body and a standard weight bell.

I believe that horn has a lightweight body and a regular weight bell. Typically people refer to that as a Bach Strad 43 with a reverse lead pipe.

A flip and a turn are basically the same thing in jazz music. Here is another video where the player refers to the ornament as a flip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnyKprQ5M8U

It is called a "turn." Here is a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/94b4QPvrDKM?t=97

Bogleheads will tell you to simplify it but for your age, it will be fine.

Personally I'd recommend 45% VTI, 25% QQQ, 10% SCHD, 20% other.

Put it in VT and forget about it. It will generate $14,700 in dividends per year. Use that $1,225 per month to supplement your income and let the VT grow.

You could substitute some % of VTI (or SPY or VOO) with VXUS if you aren't a fan of VT. For example, if you believe the US will continue to outperform you could use 80% VTI and 20% VXUS.

Sorry for you loss. Whoever left this to you has set you up for life, if you play your cards right.

I found one like that on my puppy. Had her blood checked for Lyme and she was positive so we had to give her antibiotics daily, for 3 weeks. Since then we've given her Nexgard for ticks. We recently switched to Bravecto because it is good for 12 weeks.

Is the spicy mustard still there? They used to put mayo and spicy mustard on most of their sandwiches. What have they replaced the mayo with?

I left London in 1985 so it's been a while. After 28 years back in the US, my family relocated to Ontario, Canada (my wife's home) 11 years ago. I enjoy the 4 seasons too.

No regrets about leaving the UK.

After 2 years I moved from London to San Juan, Puerto Rico. After those short days in the winter, the idea of living on a tropical island in the Caribbean had a lot of appeal.

Where's PCA? He hit two, rbi doubles yesterday so they give him a day off?

2 reminds me of Drea De Matteo (aka Adriana on The Sopranos.)

I've watched 8 seasons of "Alone" and never seen these techniques.
