In the old canon there was mandalorian iron and cortosis weave.

A fate worse than death.

First I got the 9th edition command set. And the recruit set because the lieutenant.

Then I got leviathan because of the terminators.

Then I saw auric champions and thought they're cool.

Then I got a Questoris knight, but he need some friends so I got some wardogs.

I was hardly going to split up all those box sets when they'd made friends in the box was I?

Maybe if you count the EIC forces as part of the British army. The army has always been a sideshow to the Royal Navy anyway.

That's.probably DS2 as there weren't hexes in DS.

Precisely this. The American colonies were a prestige project and when it fell through, British colonial endeavours started to focus on the more lucrative Indian and south china projects. We still had Canada and the Hudson bay area for the fur trade.

There's no way he doesn't. You can't have a defeat like this and not lose your head. The Tories are a nest of violets at the best of times, the knives will be out quicker than he can say "et tu (c)hunt?"

Surely that should be leaving an event that you really should be at early?

The laws quite clear in the UK. You can't carry a blade longer than 3 inches without good reason. Serves him right for his own stupidity.

Traditional English food is great. Traditional English cooks are awful.

Don't t worry about the rest of the lore. Very simple question though. What makes them mariners? Is it just because they're a fleet based chapter? Or is it something to do with their founding? Or where they're recruited from?

Maybe start with answering those and the rest will fall into place.

As someone who's neck deep in unpainted plastic it is very wholesome, especially in person. Before you can even play you have to build and paint your models, so there's already that artistic expression, and then you have to have people to play with and space to actually play, which most local shops do.

So you end up with these nice little community of nerds who like to paint and drink a few beers as their plastic army men go pew pew.

There's a few shutters out there who take the fascist satire a little too seriously or have problems with women and hygiene, but that's true of most nerd hobbies from the 80s.
