- Colin White, had a solid 18-19 season where he got 41 pts and was awarded with a 6 yrs deal $4.75m AAV but just fell off after that
- Logan Brown and Tyler Boucher due to injuries
I can stand by if it was a slight dip in his numbers, but he was the worst (if not, one of the worst) goaltender in the league
That could be a reason for not putting up strong nunbers but that doesn't explain why he was the worst goaltender in the league
I would have liked a long term deal but still a pretty good deal and happy we got it done

Some of those moves were of good players like Sergachev and Marino while others you had to pay like the blues with trading Hayes alongside a 2nd round pick to Pittsburgh or the canucks giving up a 2nd to get rid of Mikheyev or look at the red wings who had to give up a 2nd round pick to get rid of Walman
Teams know Ottawa needs to clear cap space (Joseph being the one to go) to sign Pinto and they are not required to help them either.
Almost similar with Chychrun, they knew Ottawa wants to trade him and were not required to help out either.
It's because the 4 nations tournament that is taking place in February
Oh it's the end of the world, he's just bad. Now JBD isn't significantly better than Hamonic but I would rather play him over Hamonic.
Hate that Dorion gave him a full NMC as we can't even send him to the minors which would help.
We do have a 9 game road trip though the Christmas break will happen right in the middle of it and it's all over the place.
Also have 13 14 back-to-back games due to the 4 nations tournament happening in February.
I see him sticking with the panthers as they have cap space and it won't cost them much
Wish him the best of luck in Washington or wherever he ends up long-term (only has 1 year left on his deal), sucks it didn't work out in Ottawa but that's on Dorion.
Did enjoy when I found out that he had family in Ottawa and spend his summer here when he was younger (it was like his 2nd hometown).
Vegas get their backup
get rid of Suter to sign Dumba
Seattle with some big signings and still have about $10m in cap space
Hertl's cap hit for the knights is $6.75m, you could have allocated that to Marchessault
that Hertl trade for me was the end of Marchessault's time in Vegas
they have about $4.4m in cap space so it can be done, it needs to happen soon (like today or tomorrow)
wtf, that leaves us with about $4.4m in cap space to sign Pinto to a contract
joins LA so they could finally defeat the oilers in the playoffs
It was only 2 seasons ago but boy does it feel like a long time ago with how the team has been playing lately. I do like his optimistic view on this team (then and now)
[David perron on tsn1200] “I do remember the 2 games B2B a couple of years ago where the Sens really took it to us and throughout the whole process; I couldn’t help but think how much closer they are to playing those (meaningful games)”
