Question were you using 2 different rolls of filament? I've noticed varying brands will have varying widths causing varying sizes in my prints. Some plastic just prints thicker some just prints thinner... I asked this because the left looks a slightly different color than the right. It reminds me of when I buy two different brand rolls of the same color thickness and quality will wane and vary amongst the different companies.
Yes I would it's more or less the same machine at the fixed some of the out of the box issues. So a lot will be inherently the same I'm actually in the market for two more machines and debating on grabbing some.
Doesn't matter files still get corrupted! You can't expect data on a drive to stay the same forever it will deteriorate over time Data goes bad Google it. It can't hurt to re-slice the file and try again It's better than rerunning the print and not sleeping at night because you know there's a possibility this thing will pause or fail to print. Fresh STL file is my vote.
The name rings bells in the industry they'll never change it. Search optimization at its finest they know everyone's hunting for that name. Sort of similar to the way people will refer to aluminum foil as Reynolds wrap or sandwich bags at Ziploc bags thousands of bag makers out there but we still refer to them as ziplocs same as thousands of printers they make but we still refer to them as Enders.
2 weeks in not common for this part, was your machine used when you got it? Maybe you had a bad part or it could be user error (over tightening screws or using the wrong types of filament or even somebody going in there with their big hulk hands and squeezing too hard) . Do they even make this version Ender anymore?
My OG K1 has been a workhorse these things are always going to have the usual problems like extruder issues but those are common with any printer. I too had ender threes and have moved on to this machine and love it. There are nuances you'll have to learn about any machine but this one in my book is a winner for my needs. She's fast as hell and spits out a good print mines have been super reliable for a printer and in my opinion Miles ahead of an Ender 3. My 2 cents... good luck!
I've had this happen it's a Corrupted STL file... reslice and try to print again!
Yeah part of me likes the Plastic version better its just more forgiving than the Metal replacement and it gave me years of service. I know it sounds cringe but I think they got it right the first time these things should wear out and about 5 years time.
How long was that in-service? Mine ran for a good 7 years before this happened so not really a POS but more of normal wear and tear. Just curious how long you ran before this happened.
Welcome I run two of these for 6 years now they are workhorses and spit out amazing prints at slow speeds! They just need a little tender loving care so buy some extra brass nozzles you'll need to replace those often and get some extra Capricorn tubing. Cura slicer works best for this machine and make sure your leveling is on point! Hairspray is your new best friend ;-)
Hairspray is your best friend check my YouTube for some help @flyingjunkies peace friend
Creality Ender 3 You can find them for cheap they are rock solid printers and a great starting point for anyone looking for high quality printers that rival those of Prusa. You have a major community backing it too so support is always a Google search away.
You should "Reslice" this is caused by a corrupt STL file. Tweak your settings slightly and reslice! It wouldn't hurt to level your bed either.
This game is so underrated I mean friggin legendary at this point.
Getting restless waiting for Titanpex 3 hmmm I'd rather some TF2 Remastered Plz... this already amazing looking game with a fresh coat of paint makes my innards tingle. 🫨
TF2 Multiplayer is one of the best but don't forget it has one of the greatest campaign modes ever made. If you skip it you're a fool! $2 is worth the campaign alone get this masterpiece now!!!
Is this a dream??? I just fired up my gaming laptop... confirmed 👍 vanilla TF2 working for the last 2 hours..been playing non stop holeeey sheeeet life just got a little bit better man. 🍻
Excellent tip I'm over here bending the ends and not having great results this might just work out I do have a solder gun from my drone building days. Thx
Very cool so are you soldering caps on the end or just using solder as the cap?
The holes are to string rope through and make a center grip , the rope has since fallen off 🥋
Yeah it really turned me off I literally had to pause the movie stop and take a deep breath when I heard them call her Nemo...geez
Dang then only other thing I could think of is you may have sliced it with scaling at less than 100 percent causing it to be smaller!?! Good luck man printing ain't easy man
Print is slightly larger between printers?
