We just got a guy on at our company (HVAC) that's here on a visa from Iran. We were asking him questions about his country and why he was here. At some point in the conversation he directly said "you Americans take everything for granted. It's so much better here than over there" I was genuinely shocked because it was so "In your face". I came out of that conversation feeling like I'm genuinely blessed to be here.
