I'm not one to advocate nonconsensual violence, but I would like to lodge a complaint against whomever is responsible for the choice to super duper oversaturate the image...

It's the reddest and greenest thing I've ever seen; looks like an end-stage Seattle Sonics jersey.

I wanted to help. Like, why try to pick them up with the little roach clip?

Just grab those fuckers with your gloved hand and get them OUT!

Let me know if you want to sell that Synapse 25.

Iirc bedbugs don't like to bite things with fur.

Sweet. I'm safe.

I have both. Yes; I am a nerd and a sucker.

That aside:

Basically, the 22 is a little bit small for a long trip, and the 30 is a little bit large for Every Day Carry.

I find that I prefer the 22, and it is GREAT for EDC or a weekend, but I have to be very parsimonious with what I bring on longer trips. I have to take the smaller water bottle, and a small packing cube, and no extra clothes or my over-ear headphones, for example.

The 30 is great and fits a lot, and is comfortable to wear, and it's not as bulky as most BIG packs, but it is still a larger pack and so I try not to bring it unless I want or need a lot of extras. It can work as every day but it does feel a bit excessive, sometimes.

You might want to consider the Synapse 25 with a laptop sleeve?

Lots of professions seem to have a type:

Lawyers - Hot messes in their personal lives

Tree Trimmers - Some kind of substance abuse issue

Pawn Shop Owners - Weird/Creepy and Evil

Restaurant Worker - fun trainwrecks

Restaurant Owner - What is the opposite of trustworthy?

etc.

Right on.

Glad you were able to move on from that.

My friend did it for a while and it sounded absolutely miserable.

I'd be more inclined to advise /u/WitchoBischaz to change careers (though it sounds like he/she has).

Bill collecting is soul-sucking work.

Right up there with roam towing, pawn shops and payday loans, as far as being exploitative and crappy.

This sounds like The Chappelle Show's famous "Racial Draft" sketch...

It's the "group stage", where all of the teams are divided into "groups" of four. Those four teams all play each other, and earn three points for a win and one point for a draw.

The two teams out of the group of four who have the highest total points at the end advance to the "knockout round", which is basically a 16-team single-elimination championship.

This whole time, I thought drumettes were actually the chicken legs.

I'm old enough to remember when VHS came out; when Cable TV started to be around, and yet...

Never knew that that was actually part of the wing; thought they were just casually mislabeling leg parts as "wings".

Wow.

I was gonna say that almost every kid ends up looking a little bit like Peter Billingsley in "A Christmas Story".

leering respectfully at hot women

Wow. I don't even know how that's possible but the rest of your commment sounds pretty good to me, so...

Carry on?

Check out the history of Esperanto.

It's simultaneously very cool and interesting and very sad.

My son is deaf, and he went to HS at a place that had a Blind and a Deaf wing.

Strangest combo of disabilities.

Now that I think about it, he now works in the adaptive tech marketing dept at a tech company, and one of his coworkers is blind there, too.

So I guess he was being prepared for his future work environment?

Well, I love this one.

I know how wrong it's gone, over and over, from Lenin to Mao to Castro to Chavez, but still.

What a nice dream.

Sorry to hear that your parents are choosing to behave poorly; must really be a bummer.

I hope they figure it out, or at least that you have other folks in your life who can do a better job of loving and supporting you.

I was musing about the meaning of the word while watching OP (posted about it above).

These comments are actually very useful to me in how to think about applying the word "lifestyle" to a sexual orientation (and more, per your comments).

Makes a little more sense, now.

Thanks!

It just made me think about the actual word "lifestyle".

Interesting word that encompasses a LOT.

Strange as a euphemism for sexual orientation, I guess.

Please leave the younglings out of it, Anakin.

ikr?

Too many people acting like this is just OK.

WTF is wrong with your dogs, guys?

"Hope" is a very good and intense song, especially considering the time during which Frusciante made it.

Definitely thought he was going to end up like the guy in OP; happy for him that he somehow improved from there.
