Hi 👋 my parents just moved to black mountain but, are literally up a mountain. Father's day is coming up and I wanted to order my dad maybe something cool or lunch or something from a local business. He loves the town ALOT and I know he would appericate if I shopped local. However I am extremely not local. IMO as a flat lander, it's a little tricky to get to where they live so I wanted to know if there are any local businesses that deliver their wares and if they deliver up the mountain. I think the fact that you felt compelled to mention your son is more impressive makes you the asshole. That statement shows you are subconsciously comparing them and putting ur son on a pedestal. Creating competition between them is also going to split them up too.
I think you should apologize to your daughter if you honestly didn't mean it that way let her know that. And let her know that you understand where you went wrong and that you would be hurt too of you heard your dad say that. Tell her you're proud of her and love her and that you'll do better.

Ahhhh That explains why it's been so difficult for me to try to dig them up. That puts a little bit of a damper on my landscaping plans but low key I'm relieved I don't have to dig them all up and try to pull them out. just cutting them is alot easier lol
Actually i just googled what a live oak looks like and I have two of those right in the middle of most of the saplings. So you think I'm stuck with having to cut them every year or so?
To be honest? I'm not sure... there's a couple of different types of fully grown trees that are around all the saplings. But I'll look up an app that can help me identify them.
SAPLING HELP
I just recently bought a house in cedar park, but it's a bit of a fixer upper. There are DOZENS of saplings/ baby trees in my back yard and I'm not sure how to remove them. (This is my first time maintaining a yard) I tried spraying bramble killer and then digging them up but the soil is crazy tough for me and there's so many rocks. I was hoping maybe an experienced cedar park gardener can give me some suggestions.
I can't afford a professional to take of it for me at this time so I'm looking for DIY. There's alot of sapling growing on my fence line and near structural parts of the deck so I know they need to be taken care of sooner, rather than later.

I think they have some rolling rizers to put under fridges to make it easier to clean behind them. Maybe check amazon?
What if you found a little riser that's 2 inches and you put the fridge on top of it? That way it looks flush against the cabinet

Good for you for moving on. But if you waiver I don't consider that bad or weak. Alot of the couples that have lasted a long time have broken up at some point and then gotten back together. The heart wants what the heart wants. It doesn't make you weak to take her back if she's your best friend and your soul mate.
