I just bought MKE sawzall pruning blades advertised with carbide tips. Thought they’d last longer. Not so much. I’m sticking with Diablo. I’ve tried Bosch as well and they’re not horrible but the Diablo stuff is better IMO

Look into Interpreter Technician Programs at local Tech Colleges. Thats where I took my classes.

Make them some jello. Soup is a good suggestion. Ensure they are keeping up with pain management.

I would echo a lot of sentiment on here about wearing the aids more.

One suggestion I have is that if the aids make things too loud for you, ask the audiologist to create alternative programs that are a lower boost in volume successfully in like 8db increments or similar. At the push of a button you’ll have some assist but it doesn’t have to be crazy. If you want to talk to someone, you can bump it up yet you’ll still get enough boost in quieter environments to get some word context.

As someone who has learned sign language, it will absolutely remove the barrier between you and other Deaf, deaf, or hard of hearing individuals. They are an extremely tight community IME. It was rewarding to learn and I wish I had kept it up more.

My father will take the other side of the argument just for the sake of debating me ALWAYS!

My favorite are the people who fly by you 25mph over the speed limit but then signal to turn lanes. Like what’s the point? If you’re gonna break laws, why stop at speeding.

“Do you realize the street value of this mountain?”

You can definitely get a precision move conveyor. But they’re pricey.

Use a pilot drill before drilling to actual size, use lubricant, buy a drill doctor so your bits are sharp, and get yourself a deburr tool. If possible, a drill press with some support too!

Shot and killed in his driveway at age 18/19 roughly. Elementary school classmate that I still hung out with in high school. He was dealing drugs and the dealer shot him for stealing I think.

Crows foot works in a pinch if you don’t have basin wrench. Wobble extensions recommended.

Don’t let him slack off taking the meds. Otherwise, it’s just time to heal.

You might have to add a bit for an Eastman but I’ve see used Reverends around that price.

It does. I have two boys who were 5 & 3 when I was diagnosed at age 47. It was THE wake up call of wake up calls for me and I try not to lose sight of it. Best wishes for you!

I’d take a look for a used Eastman or Reverend

7 years out from stage 2 SCC from P16 HPV. Right tonsil. They took both tonsils ( one with margin) and radical neck dissection to remove lymph nodes. No rads or chemo. Hoping the best for you. Sounds like you got it early.

The two worst tornadoes in recent memory (living here 50 years) near Milwaukee were in Eagle and Wautoma. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Otherwise, I’ve never see one.

I (M53) had mine at 42 & 44. They are 12 & 10. It’s worth it IMO. They def keep me moving and I cannot imagine life without them. It’s such a positive.

My only fear is the thought of the model of humanity that I’ve brought them into which is not sustainable IMO. I constantly try to preach conservation to them. I realize it isn’t their fault.

My one regret is not getting a puppy the same time the first one was born.
