I think the idea here is .... "never assume a 'vibe' " You literally have no idea what they are thinking out side of the emoji sent. Don't be Bob Ross and paint a picture around someone else's 1 character response. You get your picture, not theirs.

Imagine the songs that didn't make the album... those could be Lore based as well that moved the story. I can't imagine a song writer only having enough for the album and nothing in queue. He has been writing this story for 10 years... there is so much we will never hear as it won't get produced.

Jan 2023 layoff. Payroll until end of March 2023. My network on LinkedIn was supportive but there was a bunch layoffs that quarter. Someone I worked with and count as a personal friend knew of an opening and I got hired in April. I count myself so very lucky. Feb/March was non stop LinkedIn mining and resume submitting. A couple of interviews. I’m constantly stressing that this job will dry up and I’ll have to do it again. I’ll be a little more prepared if it happens again. But this market is horrible.

Sometimes an internal person has arranged for the job transfer, but there has to be a job opening advertised. My manager had to open the job and have me apply. Then he closed it, and moved me from one position to another. Then he opened my vacant position. So sometimes it's a 3 Card Monte game. Sometimes they have the job filled, but have to check the boxes.

I would have to get out and use the snow blower before anyone drove on the snow. After the drove on it, it would ice over. Melt and freeze, repeat. I live in Florida now. I’m free.

The sun doesn’t really crest the top of the house (sorta diagonal). So with a 2 story, the drive way stays shaded (in a shadow) during the winter months.

I got a decent severance package after a layoff and paid off my house. Taxes (too high) and HOA (smh) are my main bills outside of electric, etc... I can get a job anywhere now and afford to stay here. A huge load off of my shoulders.

My neighbor in SLC had a north facing house... but he was smart and his driveway was on the side of the house and the garage door was on the side of the house. He also had a dry-driveway... SMH.

In SLC, we had a north facing driveway and a 2 story house. Our driveway never melted. Across the street, dry, my driveway still has ice and snow.

I couldn't remember if A-List had it as well.... :) It takes the anxiety out of 6am flight checkins... when I don't usually wake up at 6!

Stick with it... A List Preferred checks you in automatically 36hrs in advance. Then you never have to check in again.

Companion Pass ... my wife flies for the taxes. If she goes to SFO with me for work, $11.20 round trip, 4 bags fly free with us. If we go to Cancun, or Aruba.... she flies for the taxes. American, Delta ... she pays 100% of the ticket, and we get the privilege of paying for bags and boarding last after 1st Class, Diamond, Jade, Emerald, Pearl, Corn, Broccoli and Carrot Status Levels...

Skip the photos... Drink juice and water (hydrating is better anyway)... Look at this as a relax away from home, not a do everything event. Hit the shows. Bring a case of soda.

This may not be the airline for you. Many airlines offer the benefit you require.

Next year will be different when they get the bills for travel and entertainment. We would go big one year then the accountants would pull the purse strings tighter.
