I recently had to replace the quick release system after mine snapped off, and I've got it on the rim, put it on the base to play and nothing, no face button input, obviously still steering input since that's from the base but the rim at this point is just a glorified joystick, does anybody know how to fix it? I tightened the bolts down snug because that's how they were tightened on the other quick release and I just have absolutely 0 input
No, they're all intact and it slides on and locks cleanly there's just no electrical connection

This might be a honeymoon phase but no game has sucked me in for days on end like Hogwarts legacy has after I got it about a week ago. I could go on for days about the things I love about it. The only gripe I have is that my PC doesn't handle it very well but it's such a charming game especially as a Harry Potter fan and it's so jammed packed full of main and side quests I find myself either grinding those out or simply just enjoying the scenery. The only game I could ever compare it to in terms of sheer excitement to play is Elden ring, test drive unlimited 2, little big planet 3, and skate 3 I know people have a lot against Hogwarts legacy but it's the most fun I've had on a game in years.

I actually haven't tried reseating it because I assumed it wouldn't need as much of a connection and having it snug would be fine, I'll definitely try that when I get the chance
