Once, i rebooted my router and my Rachio 3 would not reconnect. Had to reboot the Rachio to get it to connect. Other than that, no issue.

Somewhere, I read that Rachio will fail to connect sometimes if you have the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi. In order to make sure I do not have this problem, I created a 2.4 ghz only guest network that I use to connect to my Rachio. You may want to turn off your 5ghz network as a trial to see if this fixes your problem.

i “fortunately” do not have any paid subscriptions that require me to use a “real” or verified name/address. I always use fake name/address to avoid the unknown risk. So they have no way to contact me except through email (which i use apple’s “hidemyemail” to obfuscate my real email)

I have a general question … if you use Sonophone, do you still need the sonos app for some functionality? Or can you completely delete the sonos app?

I would be concerned that Sonos might do a firmware update that blocks/disables the Sonophone app.

Of course if Sonos announces there is a “security flaw/exploit” in the current firmware, they will try to encourage you to update the firmware ..

I think all the major credit card companies now provide this service. It can be a disaster if your card was replaced for fraud as the fraudster may receive your new credit card info. Some credit card companies let you opt out of the service.

I now prefer to purchase subscriptions for aps and services on my iphone when possible as apple lets me easily terminate recurring subscriptions at any time.

I want to clarify a point. There are now services that will provide eharmony your new credit card information without your consent. Several credit card companies provide this information “as a service to you” so that you are not automatically cancelled from services when your credit card is replaced …. So you may think, they do not have your new info; but they may have it!

The service is often called “automatic billing updater” … you can google it … many credit card companies are now doing this.
