This one feels like it should be obvious, but why do I need to keep reporting the same exact ads as offensive? I’ve already updated my ad preferences to filter sensitive topics.
Yeah that blows. I like watching band covers and that doesn’t at all detract from my listening of the original. If anything, I generally re-listen to the original after listening to a cover. Sick song to cover too — all instrumental parts are fun.
Thanks for your help.
I’m wondering if not including the feature I’ve described is a technical hurdle for Reddit’s Ad Safety team to solve, or a deliberate feature omission designed to push Premium subs. The former is negligence while the latter is just plain scummy.
Either way, this is a pretty bad look for a social media company hoping to keep / maintain user trust. I’m not buying the Premium subscription, so I can either continue to be offended every time I open the app or just stop using it. Weird game of chicken for Reddit to be playing with user trust.

Is this a win I feel great about? I’ve felt better after wins.
Would I feel better about it if the Pacers missed a last-second shot instead of the way it did? Yeah, probably.
Am i going to apologize to anyone for it? Fuck no. The boys played hard and won, we’ve caught shitty breaks for two decades, and the Pacers weren’t playing lights-out where you’d say “that team should have won.” 6pts for Halli man…
Precious and Mitch? BIG!
Nailed it lol. I wouldn’t be shocked if they worked the Bear vs Man thing into a future episode.
Holy recidivism Batman!
Knicks legend Trey Burke got 8 minutes that Game 7.
Is the overdraft on or off by default? Why do you think it’s that way?
There’s nuance though, right? I said it’s not theft, but I disagree with your sentiment that the way banks handle overdraft fees is ethical. Like I said, IMO it’s predatory. Not theft. Lots of predatory behavior can be legal (especially when predators become lobbyists) and I’ll still say it’s deplorable behavior.
They also happen to target those who are naturally poor at money management or financially vulnerable, which feels like a much more unsavory revenue base than something like charging every user a flat account fee. This lady is paying an overdraft fee so that families with the FDIC max of $500k can bank their money for free.
So not literally “theft”… but super predatory on the weak and IMO, deplorable.
