R5: My Eat Your Greens/KHAAAAAAN/Back in Control run.
TLDR: Kale -> Sham -> Tibet -> Khalka -> Yuan -> Mongol Empire. Hordes are OP.
A common strategy for Eat Your Greens in previous patches was to form Siam, however that's not really an option anymore due to the new requirement of having completed 2 disasters.
I decided to go for Yuan instead for the ideas and somewhere in the early 1500's I decided to try for KHAAAAAAN and Back in Control aswell.
- Ally Mong Mao and fully annex Ava to get all their tributaries. Click the missions to form Sham and inherit all the tribs (around 1450). Do not full state anything, we need to culture shift later.
- Become Ming tributary to be able to declare on their other tributaries in Tibet.
- Expand into Tibet. You need to fully own the entire Tibet region to go horde, but do not get anything north of Tibet or Oirat will hate you.
- Ally Oirat for the mission to become horde. If Oirat is allied to any other nation in Tibet, you can use your alliance to declare on someone else (ie. Chagatai) and call them in. Then you can conquer their Tibetan ally.
- Full state Tibet, culture shift to Tibetan, convert to Vajrayana and form Tibet (around 1460). Click missions to become Khalka. Immediatly stop paying Ming tribute, he will break tributary in a few years and his mandate will tank due to the Nomadic Frontier disaster.
- Expand into India (for grassland provinces), SE Asia, central Asia (for Yuan requirements) and Ming when his mandate drops. DOW Ming with the mandate CB
- To form Yuan and stay horde you need to kill the MoH by fully annexing the current emperor. This is easiest if Ming implodes, however in my game Ming did not want to break even while permanently sitting at 0 mandate. I kept attacking them on cooldown for full money and some land. Eventually, in the 1540s, Shun broke free and immediatly declared a mandate war. I declared on Ming at the same time, killed his armies, did not siege anything and made sure Shun gets their capital. They got the MoH and were small enough to be annexed in one war. This was around 1540's in my game, but can be done much earlier if Ming implodes.
- Form Yuan. At this point it's just about conquering as much as possible with your OP cav, razing and managing gov cap. I did release Kazakh and Ilkhanate (using Yuan missions) to help with gov cap.
- Pick Expansion as the 4th idea group - there's a few grassland provinces that have to be colonized. I started colonizing in the spice islands to beat the Europeans to it and avoid any wars with them. There's a few provinces in Siberia, too.
Ideas: Horde -> Diplomatic -> Humanist -> Expansion. I was heavily debating going Admin at some point, but Humanist saves so much time fighting rebels, you get 30% CCR from Yuan ideas and points are not really a problem when playing horde.
Random thoughts:
* Sailors were a bit of a bottleneck, I started building heavy ships around 1550's to invade Japan and the spice islands.
* It might be better to go Hindu for CCR and unrest reduction, I couldn't figure out a good way to do it considering you need to be Vajrayana to form Tibet.
* Yuan has a very nice branching mission for tolerance of heretics and heathens, be sure to complete that ASAP.
* Always declare on Ming withthe MoH CB - it gives 50% cost for provinces.
* If you just want to complete Eat Your Greens and Ming refuses to break, it might be better to stay Khalka instead of getting sidetracked in China like I did.
* I'm not 100% sure if land owned by Ilkhanate counts for the achievement. The achievement wasn't popping, so I ended up releasing Iraq, delaring on him and giving him all grasslands in Persia owned by Ilkhanate, and taking them for myself in the next war. Only after that I realized I missed one grassland in Manchuria.
* Gov cap is the biggest problem. I ended up releasing most of China as vassals (only to integrate them later for Back in Control), as well as Kazakh and Ilkhanate. I was still at or over the limit most of the time.
* Money is also a bit of a problem, be sure to visit the bank of Ming as often as possible.
Super fun run in general, and the last of the 5 impossible achievements done!
Thanks for the guide, the opening strategy really gets you going! It finally motivated me to get the achievement, got it in november 1499, fully stable, no loans. I did bird for BI and the horse event though.
Na kilka dni Berlin jest super.
Considering the spelling errors it’s most likely a scam
I did this strategy at league start with a LA/TS Deadeye. Slap an Inspired Learning in there and it’s pretty comfortable.

RIP my build :(
Couldn't find any guides but here's a poe.ninja link of people playing this build: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?item=Duskdawn&skill=Storm-Brand
I’m having a lot of success with Storm Brand Archmage Hiero with MoM/Agnostic. Lots of dps and I almost never die
I’d recommend pushing on. I just rerolled this build and it gets pretty amazing once you get the key items. Cloak and foible should help a lot.
Yeah I just ran into this after the patch. 3 wings, 2x agility 1x lockpick last door and all of them bugged out...
Yep just ran into the same issue. What's the best way to report this?

The movie “Solaris” was based on the book of the same title by Stanislaw Lem. I’m pretty sure this comment was inspired by that book.
That’s going to be fun: kidnapped by the fellowship of the ring, rescued by the Peaky Blinders
If I understand it correctly, the entire physical memory is mapped in the kernel address space, not only the kernel memory. This means you can access data of other processes too.
You could try using docker with ie. an Ubuntu 16.04 image
Not yet, I've just finished my build and didn't have time to play with OC
It's underwhelming, and it got declared on by Mamluks in my game. However, I really needed the gov cap, that's the only reason to release them.
