I do estate planning so I don’t litigate a ton. For the most part, my clients and colleagues take me seriously and my elderly clients in particular feel more comfortable with me because of my disability. The handful of times I had to go to court, things were fine, (although one time the clerk did assume I was the petitioner and not the actual lawyer). I’m an attorney and a double amputee.

Our parents sold theirs to a guy who wanted to live there full time. They sold it to him for less because the other higher offer wanted to tear the cabin down and build a rental. My dad wanted to sell it to someone who would keep it and couldn’t bear to see it torn down.

Yep, ours had a TV with no cable, electricity, water and a wood burning stove. We spent most of our vacations there. My father built it with my grandfather and some friends. It was also in the middle of the woods, no lake.

I am going through this right now. I cannot get a mask to stay on my face for more than a few hours. My doctor has said there is an appliance I can use in my mouth as a last ditch effort and I may try that.

We’ve threatened to sue over it a few times but they usually back down. Usually if I can get through to the banks legal team we can get them to accept it.

I do the exact same thing. A letter outlining the law and a copy of the statute. It works most of the time.

Third love has great loungewear. The shirts in particular are great.

I love Tory Burch and have five bags from them. They are good quality and are decently priced especially with sales.

You can appeal in Michigan but 5-6 points can be hard to get. One or two points is more common.

Same, since January 2023. Luckily it’s my non dominant arm but I’m also a leg amputee wheelchair user so it has sucked. Just hoping these stupid nerves come back.

When I was younger, I would get people that would grab the back of my chair and try and push me in one direction to be helpful. I had to firmly say no please leave me alone that’s not the direction I’m going in. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had to be less stern but still firm especially when people try to close my car door which has an automatic close.
