My wife took a Stanley to Disney to get character signatures (which turned out AWESOME!). They all used Sharpies. What's our best option to seal them in permanently? Would some sort of epoxy be my best bet?
And is this something I can DIY or do I need to find someone locally who sells tumblers do it?
I built a series 1 saber back in 2020. My son built a series 2 saber this week. His is NOTICEABLY brighter, even using the same crystal and brand new batteries.
Is the brightness related to the blade? I'm assuming more LEDs in the series 2, or increased power? Or is the briygness controlled by the power pack?
Would a series 2 blade work on my series 1 hilt and achieve the same brightness?
I FINALLY received my hoodie and beanie. I emailed them 3 times and never heard anything. Didn't even get shipping information. It just showed up one day. 🤷♂️
Love the hoodie so far but haven't had it out on a trek yet (will be taking it out when it gets colder). Doubt I will order from them again though. That's a lot of money to lay out with no communication.
Yeah I've seen that. Absolutely absurd. What if you're visiting solo? Totally unreasonable to ask someone with disabilities to tote a wheelchair around the park just for use in the lines.
Also, I've never seen a CM in a queue. So how are you supposed to contact one in case you need to temporarily leave the line?
And you think all the people you're trying to pass are just going to accommodate that? With a wheelchair!?
We will be arriving at WDW on Thursday. Our DAS window opened several weeks ago and we were able to get approval without any issues whatsoever. However, now that the new rules are in place, will our previous DAS approval be valid, or are we going to have to be requalified?
The CM who approved our DAS was well aware that we would be arriving after the new rules would take place, and nothing was ever mentioned about having to requalify.
I just want to make sure before we arrive and have any issues.

Not to my knowledge. They don't usually carry a lot of stock though. When I placed my order there were several color options that were out of stock. But the one I ordered showed as in-stock.
But even if they took the order but ran out of stock before filling it, an email notification would have been nice.

I placed an order with Appalachian Gear Company on April 30th. I received an email on May 1st that the order had been received.
Since then, I've received nothing. No status or shipping. I reached out several days ago to get a status update and it was met with radio silence. I've reached out again today so we'll see what happens.
I've always tried to support cottage gear companies, especially ones in the same area as me (they're in NC, I'm in TN).
Has anyone had any experience with them? This is my first order with them. I've heard many great things about them and their gear. I did a lot of research trying to decide between AGC and Paka for an alpaca hoodie. That's a lot of money on a shirt! I'd have hoped for better CS from them 🤷♂️

Been using a Ring alarm security system for a few years now, and all of a sudden when I go to arm before going to bed I get "Ring doesn't support that" response from Alexa.
Has something changed? Is there a bug? I've had 0 problems over the years, and this seems to have come out of nowhere.
Yes. I have an LG FireTV that has a FireTV Stick in it. I know. It's confusing.
It's because we had the stick before we had the TV. The stick was paired to Echo Studios in a theater setup. Got the TV on a great deal only to find out the TV will not pair with the Echo Studios. So we just went back to using the stick, on the TV.
Also, I should add that the TV and Stick do not show as triggers in Alexa routines. Only actions. As in, I can turn the TV off based on an action, but I cannot set the TV powering off as a trigger for other events (like turning off the Govee backlight).
I guess I could set the backlight off based on something else, like setting the Ring alarm to armed 🤷♂️
My FireTV doesn't show up in my Alexa app. Neither does my FireTV Stick. 🤔
Late to the comments, but as many others have said, performance boxer briefs. For me, the longer the better. Chubb rubb is real!
But I've yet to find a solution for the but crack chaffing. I've tried body glide, but it just doesn't hold up to 15+ miles a day. And stopping to reapply isn't always convenient.

Just hooked up the backlite 3 lite last night and loving it so far. The biggest "hangup" I'm having so far is power control.
I've tried setting the brightness and hue power controls and they seem to work to power the stripes off. But when I woke up this morning the back lights were on. I assume the lighting in the living room triggered them. So I guess they just enter into a low power standby mode rather than turning off.
Is it possible to completely power them off when the TV is turned off? I don't necessarily want them to power on with the TV as we mainly got them for gaming and movie nights. So I can turn them on manually and set them to the proper settings (movie vs gaming, black bar vs no black bar, etc).
But I'd love for them to power off with the TV and only turn back on when I manually do so.
Two part question...
I need a carpenter bee habitat/shelter and also a deterrent to help direct them away from the new patio.
I tried building habitats last year but they didn't work well and didn't last into this season. I made an open front "house" structure with an overhanging roof to protect from rain. I filled it with rough cut cedar fence posts (end grain pointing outward). Some had pre-drilled holes and others did not. Figured it would attract carpenters, masons, and also leafcutters. It did OK. Had a few leafcutters take up residence, but did not do well with the carpenters.
I also sprayed down the new patio with a natural oil combination (lemongrass and citronella) mixed with water. Again, not sure it did well. I still had several carpenter bees take interest.
I do NOT want to use traps or kill them. I just want to keep them from boring into my new patio and thus attracting woodpeckers later on.

Headed back to GE at the end of the month and plan to take my V1 saber with me (from 2020). We're doing a Capture Your Moment session in Batuu and my son would like a green crystal to change the color of the saber for his photos.
But do the V2 crystals work in a V1 saber?
I saw someone that had purchased a battery pack to wall outlet insert for their saber and put it on a smart plug. That way they could control it with voice commands and scenes. I haven't done that to mine, but looked awesome!
I'm digging the Luke and Yoda combo.
I'm HIGHLY disappointed that Chewie's back bling is not C-3PO like in ESB, with one of his legs as the pickaxe.
