Wij gaan 2 á 3 keer per jaar met de auto op vakantie. Dat zijn ritten van tussen de 3000 en 4000 km heen en terug.
Zodra het bereik van een elektrische auto op een volle accu hetzelfde of groter is dan onze huidige 800+ km op een volle tank benzine, en het laden in een kwartier kan, denk ik er pas aan om over te stappen.
Nu zou het simpelweg veel teveel extra tijd en moeite kosten.

Maybe use some noise cancelling earplugs with white noise or something to cancel the noise out as much as possible? If you need absolute silence for your work, maybe find another place to work at on those days.
Hope they're done sooner than our neighbours were.. January 2022 a family moved in and started renovating it room by room, also bathroom, kitchen and garden. They were done 1,5 years later.
I work from home too, and noise cancelling headphones worked fine for me.

Used to have unlimited cards for about 8 years, my wife and me. We went 3 times a week and saw every movie. We still have a tin film can somewhere in the attic with around 600 movie tickets in it from before QR codes were used to get in.
4 years ago we were just done with all the people that were on their phones during the movie, checking their chats or news with full brightness, taking pictures, taking calls, flashing lights because they're bored.. It was fucking unbelievable. At first it was an irregular occurance, but in the end it happened every movie. We've watched everything at home since then.
If there's no asking if it's ok to put feet right up there against their arm, why should they bother to ask anything.

Shrug it off mate, it's the weekend.
Ik deed tot 5 jaar geleden hetzelfde, telkens een nieuw toestel bij een 2 jarig abonnement kiezen en dan ook nog eens het duurste Samsung toestel.
5 jaar terug ging ik eens opsommen wat ik nou eigenlijk echt met een telefoon deed, en wat voor mij dus belangrijk was om persé te moeten hebben in een toestel..
Dat bleek alleen een verbeterde camera te zijn. En die zit ook in de allergoedkoopste nieuwe toestellen.
Ik heb met mijn vorige telefoon 4 en een half jaar gedaan en heb nu een abonnement met een nieuwe goedkoop samsung voor 20 EUR per maand. Dat is zo'n beetje 30 euro minder dan wat ik de afgelopen 15 jaar betaalde.
Als je na die 30 minuten daadwerkelijk 800 km kon rijden zou ik dat oké vinden. Niet fijn, maar gewoon oké.
Het gebrek aan laadpalen hier in de wijk is het volgende directe obstakel. Misschien dat dat zichzelf oplost de komende jaren, laten we het hopen.
Maar om te beginnen komen de veel hogere aanschafkosten. Dat is voor ons als groot gezin nog een flink aantal jaren gewoon geen optie.
