The best memory was playing my first riff ( sweet child o mine) and just feeling like Slash. Now I'm relearning and it's not as easy as it was, and nothing will feel like that guitar did in my hands.

There are fewer guitars more suited to all types of music than a Stratocaster. You can get the squire brand and they are perfectly good guitars for a decent price. Or an epiphone Les Paul.
Or. Yamaha Pacifica. Great guitars and great prices.
Amps you can get a positive grid spark or a boss katana or a fender mustang lt 25. Or anything in your price range. Amps are easy to upgrade. Most people start with a trashier amp, learn the basics of how they work, and go get a better one after.
A good amp will make a cheap guitar sound better. While a cheap amp will make a great guitar sound cheap.
