Only red flag is how you find yourselves being the last people in the restaurant. I had a couple regulars that were really similar to you guys, and they were very kind and great guests and tipped well, but every night when they’d come in, we knew that we would be there until later than usual. I don’t work in a corporate restaurant, it’s pretty small, so if there’s no one else in the restaurant at 9:30, and we close at 10, we would absolutely prefer it if you left sooner than later so we can too! But also we’d all know we close at 10 too so there’s not much we can do until then. We all just want to go home and do the things we are watching you guys do hahah. I don’t think anyone would REALLY be genuinely mad, it’s more a small annoyance. I make a point to not clean up near that table, or talk to them and say hey I’m gonna start cleaning up but don’t worry you guys can hang out, until it’s been too long and we are all ready to go and then we start putting chairs up/actually tell them it’s time to go. Don’t feel bad, you guys are customers and paying to be in that space :) just keep an eye out for the employees n know they don’t really wanna be there the same way you do.

Also not to mention him and his son talking about how they’ve cherry-picked what they’re gonna talk about. Michael never actually answers Nat’s questions about “What do you know happened to me” or etc. He doesn’t want to say what he knows cuz he doesn’t wanna have to talk about certain things if Natalia doesn’t mention first. He can tell the interviewers that he views Natalia as a daughter, (I don’t believe him) and lie in their faces about all these things but he can’t even pretend or say that he loves her. That’s what stood out to me. Like if she was ever your daughter, no matter WHAT she did, no matter her age, you would love her. That kind of love is unconditional. That spoke more than any lies or pity story he told cuz it just showed they never truly cared about her, him and Kristine both. If this abuse was happening to one of their sons- I believe Michael would’ve then not been too scared to stand up for his child. Or maybe not, because he is truly a coward.

Dudeeeeee they were so bad sometimes. There was one shot idk if it was Natalia or some one else but they leave in the struggle of them getting onto a tall chair right before the start of an interview. Why not cut that out ?????
It goes on for the entire show. Even in season 2, when Natalia is FINALLY featured to talk, the majority of it feels dominated by Michael, though they start kinda dunking on him with catching his lies during the times Michael and her meet. Sorry for spoilers I guess but he only gets worse and the creators eat it up I think

I noticed that too. Every time one of them was speaking or on screen, they showed more compassion and understanding than any of her six “parents” and were definitely the voice of reason within the show. I also appreciated the legal experts perspective, most of the time.

What did it for me was the dramatization of the police call that Natalia made, and then never mentioning or bringing it up again lol. But your points are right. I think the 2nd season did a better job but there was still a lot of moments like that.

YTA if you’re scaring her on purpose, but I feel like you could still play this way but instead when you aren’t waking up, exaggerate a snore or something so it’s clear you’re just a heavy sleeper..? the less movement you make and if your breathing is shallow then that could add to the things that make your kiddo recognize there’s something wrong.
