It can take 15+ years to develop a new medicine. That’s a long time spent with no return on investment. And most never make it to market.
A good scrub with dawn and hot water then drying well should do it!

Edit to add: a good degreaser for a job like this will change your life. Ask at the hardware store.
I would not. But those mesh screens pop out for washing (or they are cheap to replace). But I would just clean the rest in place. Use a degreaser to make your job easier.
