yea it took me a long time to figure out because i kept thinking i had to do something with the u2c when in reality all i had to do was plug it in then set up my ebb36 as you normally would basically ignoring the u2c. i think the fact it had usb c on it was confusing me into thinking it was more complex than it was, and the fact there’s zero documentation which i normally read through. but there’s none because there doesn’t need to be just plug it in 😂

i got mine working, honestly can’t remember what my issue was even though i did it just a week ago. 😅 i did so many things and it ended up being something so simple. i think i was trying to connect to the ebb by connecting to the u2c usb c but i needed to just go through the bttpi. i spent a lot of time thinking i needed to do something with the u2c but it just needed to be plugged in. but you’re saying you wrote over the u2c firmware?

zero stutter if it’s just sending the files and not transcoding. never worked on my roku but my apple tv plays everything and haven’t run into any file it wouldn’t run. transcoding may be easier to set up now i know some people had it working but i haven’t felt the need. i had it pretranscoding all my files to formats that worked with roku and that worked fine but i just bought an apple tv too not worry about it. you can put an m2 drive and use it as cache if you’re really worried. you definitely want to put the os on m2 though if you run it off the sd card that might be more an issue than the usb hard drive
