I would take as many days as possible in Botswana. There’s nothing like it. I was there a little over a week ago, and drive in from South Gate in Moremi Park, out from Kasane in Chobe. I did it over 7 nights. It was incredible! Happy to tell you where I stayed and camped.

How are you seeing Chobe? Are you renting a car camper and camping in the park (what I did), or are you staying at lodges, going with guides? That will help direct answers

The biggest recommendation I can give is staying at Cresta Mowana in Kasane for at least two nights. Do a morning safari drive, evening river tour, and the next day take a tour of Impalila Island across the river in Namibia. All these tours can be organized from the hotel, and they pick you up on the banks of the river (also at the hotel). One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at and truly a pleasure. Have been back to Bots three times now, and I’ll only leave the bush to stay at Cresta

You should definitely prioritize staying in Kasane vs Maun. Muchhh more to do. You could take a day tour to Victoria Falls from Kasane

My trip was 19 days, with excursions into SA, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. I wish I had allocated more time

I love to support female founded companies, but these are not that great :/ it also takes them forever to develop new products! …that also aren’t that great

Terra @ Eataly. Or capri. Super nice setting, great portions, affordable

I was just in Zimbabwe a few days ago and everyone and their momma is trying to sell you these bills. Fun souvenir :)

They’re great and they actually let you make substitutions unlike their locations in Italy. You have to be a big fan of stuff like pate and stracciatella cheese to really appreciate it, because making a sandwich from those ingredients is always expensive. It’s also a huge sandwich! AK location is always packed Friday through Sunday. With a long enough line that i just commit to coming back on another day. I don’t think it’s hype, but I also adore their truffle, pate, and cheese options

Pińata district. Wholesale candy, pińata, and party supplies. Heavy on the Latino & bodega candy. I used to buy my 15lb bag of Albanese (reigning gummi champ) there.

This is the closest vibe to CDMX you’re going to get in this whole city

my bf and I joke about how frequently someone comes up to me when I’m wearing my gude one and ask “is that a baggu?!”

but we’re also in la lol

The only centurion lounge is in the international terminal at LAX. Amex lounging has some of the worst representation at LAX

Me hace triste :( la vida en Medellín no es facil y ella es una jovencita…haciendo lo único que siente que puede

Nicaraguan food isn’t always the most aesthetic but it is super dank 😋

I thought that shot was incredible. The blurred chaos in the background. Art truly ✨
