So the first you provided evidence and the second the repost bot detected 87% similarity but due to being reposted the quality has dropped and thus it's not 100%, am I following this correctly?
So the first was removed and the second as well, but my question is this, why were they removed? This sub doesn't have a rule against reposts so I can't see why, by nature of posting a 3 year old meme (first example), would it be worthy of being removed?
Second question; What is wrong with posting old content that hasn't been seen in a while? 3 years seems like plenty of time, and more often than not the majority of people who see the repost weren't exposed to the OP, so to them it's OC.
Hopefully I explained myself better here, I'm interested to see your response. I understand getting annoyed about things posted weekly or even monthly, but 3 years seems like an acceptable time frame for a repost.
