This situation shouldn't have occurred in the first place and it's totally the EBUs fault. If an artist has a request for privacy backstage for any reason it should be granted.

There will always be special requests because people have different requirements (mental, physical etc) and they should not be exploited in this way. Just because they are taking a part in a competition doesn't mean the EBU owns them.

Of course, if his reaction was disproportionate he should be responsible for that but I think this should have been prevented by the EBU. I wish they could have resolved this privately and the EBU should have stopped the rumors in time. Really bad handling by them in this situation and I think the Dutch broadcaster is right to be pissed.

This doesn't make any sense. If there was an agreement that he won't be filmed then that agreement was breached. Everyone has a right to privacy backstage which is not a part of the Eurovision performance. Whether or not you like to watch that sort of content is irrelevant.

Whoever is making decisions for EBU this year should be fired. The word "disrepute" comes to mind..

Can't help but lose respect for the EBU here, as little as I had left. If he did something serious there should be a process in place in which people don't spread crazy rumors and it's dealt with.

If he did something minor, why are they suddenly playing moral police here while having Isr*l perform and their delegation acting shamefully towards other participants and delegations.

It's almost as if EBU doesn't know what to do if an "incident" happens and if Israel "accidentally" wins, like shouldn't they have some sort of idea what to do in these cases smh

It was the same last year and Joker Out were amazing. I'm not a fan of EMA anyway, they always pick what the juries want so what's the point of the show?

I would disagree on carrots

I'm from Slovenia which is a much smaller country than Denmark, with less than half the population and when I go home I feel so excited going food shopping because there's so much variety. It's honestly quite shocking. The quality is also a problem, nothing in Denmark tastes like much - the fruit, vegetables, eggs... It just can't compare. So, when people complain is for a reason. Food-wise it's challenging living here especially on a budget.

This is such an exaggeration, his vocals were mostly fine except some high notes there at the end. There were much flatter vocals during the night that nobody is focusing on but Olly gets pounded on like this..

I'm sure he's going to improve the vocals for the final but he did not fuck up.

Mercator is a Slovenian store which is an even smaller country and it has infinitely more variety than here in DK

I'm Slovenian and the amount of choice and quality that's available in Slovenia vs. Denmark is staggering.

I'm super happy Slovenia made it! If they tighten the camera angles she could do well in the final although Slovenia usually gets forgotten..

I've lived in Scotland and have been to these places many times.

I would skip Inverness and spend the time in the Highlands. My personal opinion is that the Highlands are much much prettier than Loch Ness. Not much to do there.

Edinburgh is lovely but you don't need to spend much time there because the centre isn't big and you can walk it in a day.

I agree with a lot of your points! UK is also one of my favourite songs this year because it's something I'd actually listen to and I know Olly is a great performer so even if he doesn't place very high, it will be great to watch on the night.

I don't like the Croatian song at all, it's irritating to my ears and I have no clue how it's on the top of the odds at the moment.

This is probably my least favourite year in a decade.

A lot of songs sound dated, they remind me of 2007-2009 and why I didn't like watching Eurovision back then.

Spain is painful to listen to due to poor vocals and it's pretty boring. Bottom of the pack for me.

Some of my favourites are the UK and Poland.
