Miami has been nothing but a parasite on the Everglades. Farming, water draining, invasive species introduction, etc. A huge burden would be lifted off the environment.
Hot Springs is a nice, pretty little park. Not bad at all. It’s small but it’s worth a day trip. I recommend hiking through Sunset trail in an autumn morning, and then seeing the town in the afternoon. I like to finish up a hike and go to Quapaw Bathhouse for a mineral bath and massage. Superior Bathhouse has beer brewed with the local spring water and good food. The visitors center is a quick museum. If you have more time you can kayak through the Ouichita Mountains and if you have kids they’d be happy to spend time in the local tourist town. The Arlington Hotel is going through renovations right now but it’s a historic hotel with decent prices.

It’s a good story. The title is a play on words - both of them are each other’s oppressors. ML is a bitter poisonous man keeping the FL hostage in her marriage, and the FL is a member of a ruling class that crushed those weaker than them. My Beloved Oppressor is an interesting character study of a toxic marriage. The ML comes off in the beginning like a horrible red flag pos, but as the story goes on you get more messed up backstory that lead to how he is.
Skinamarink could have been a real throat grabber if it cut like, 40 minutes from the run time. As an atmosphere piece it’s high up there but it gets so lost in the dreamy nightmarish mood that it becomes a really dull film.
