I’m also going to recommend Anthony’s. Get the Jazz, it’s simply the best.

Married ♀

I grew up going to the NO Mass and married a TLM guy, so now we go to the TLM together, as I moved to his city when we got married. Was not a red flag for me, but I can see how it would be for some women.

We had our hotel block for our wedding at the one downtown and our guests all had positive things to say. It’s close enough that you can walk to power & light and there are tons of restaurant options within blocks.

I have a similar past! I grew up Catholic, lapsed in my early 20s and also participated in hookup culture before returning to the faith in my mid 20s. I am also on medication for depression/anxiety and have done therapy in the past. My advice to you is to find a different guy. I am married to a traditional Catholic man (we attend the TLM) and he has never once judged me for my mental health issues and has always been supportive when I have needed to seek outside help. Your issues are valid and you are doing the right things to treat those issues. Proud of you for that! You will be in my prayers.

I also had this issue when I worked L&D. I never fit in and felt like an outsider in a clique of girls who only wanted to help out each other and not me. I moved to the main OR because I knew I enjoyed c-sections and I’ve never looked back. Been in the OR 4 years now and it’s a completely different culture - still fast paced but very much team based and most if not all people are always willing to help you out. And I never feel stupid asking questions!

Same, my husband is a journalist for a local tv station and is in a managerial role. We make very similar money, but he works a ton of overtime because he’s a manager and doesn’t get extra pay for it because he is salaried.

Lucky!! We attend a TLM and ours regularly average around 30 minutes, and I’m not joking. It’s a treat if it’s under 20.

This is another reason I love working OR. Come in and leave in street clothes. I am totally anonymous outside of work!

As much as I loathe rach’s workout content, I gotta admit I’m super impressed with her upper body strength. I could never do pull-ups, not to mention shoulder presses with 30lb dumbbells!

The 9th grade center shut down when they opened the second public high school and it was damaged in a tornado like two days later. Still has a bunch of windows boarded up. There’s always talk about making it into apartments but nothing has happened yet.

Happened to me at Mamma Mia. Had to routinely shush the people behind me who were treating it like a concert. I didn’t pay to hear you sing, lady behind me!!! Shut it!!

Does Rachel do anything besides go to the gym and try on colorful workout clothes?

I use Spotify and tend to just play classic rock in the OR, it tends to be a happy medium for everyone!

This is my pick as well. It pairs sooooo well with milk.

We stayed at our home!! Was so nice to be in our own space and now it’s another special memory in our home :)

OP, I am a surgery nurse in the area and have worked with Dr Young many times. She is really really great. Would highly recommend her.

Nice to see Rach rewearing a snowsuit!!! I thought for sure she’d take this opportunity to buy a brand new pink one. Good on her.

I think she’s still working for her, items have gotten listed on Rach’s Poshmark in the last week and I doubt Rachel would’ve done that herself.

I live downtown currently and love it!! I’ve lived in two different complexes near P&L and generally the neighborhood is very safe. I would just recommend getting a place with an attached garage, that is what really comforted my parents in terms of safety.

Helm Salon in the river market has several stylists who specialize in mullets and shags

Same, I also have one and love it. Never have any issues with it and it works like a charm!
