Are there any ringtones available? Seeing as how "Well well well" has become a commonplace statement for me I would like to make it my ringtone now. Just wondering if they any official ones out?
Meanwhile the new slave labor they've imported with mass immigration are breeding like rabbits.
Through the Breach: a mish mash steampunk world that uses cards instead of dice.
Wildsea: super cool setting and light mechanics.
Outgunned/Household: Super fun games with yahtzee style mechanics
Vampire the Masquerade 5th edition: my all time fave game.
Genesys (universal system): super narrative and creative mechanics.
Deadlands: weird west.
Coriolis: for arabian nights meets Firefly.
Heart: for a super creative setting and classes.
Shiver: for campy horror movies.
Sentinel Comics RPG: for superheroes right off the page of a comic book.
I feel like that book is just filled with weird and crazy theories, none of which are canon because there are what, four ending truths to any of the stories?
Any chance I can see your setting rules? I saw a vampire Genesys conversion of Requiem once but wasn't a huge fan of the original game so I gave it a pass.
White Wolf doesn't exist anymore FYI. The IP is now owned by Paradox and published by Renegade.
And like I said, to each their own but I will say this. If lets say an actor/celebrity did something horrible like physically assault and force themselves on someone (I know it's an extreme comparison to make my point), I'm not going to buy any of his new movies sure, but I'm also sure as s$it not going to tell my friends to watch his work, or tell strangers they should see his movie, or do anything to promote anyone else giving him more money or discovering his work. I know it's not the same, it's an exaggerated comparison to make my point seen on an escalated example so that what I'm saying seems more clear in perspective. Perhaps another example would be to say that if I found out a company used slave child labor, I'm not going to continue buying their product nor am I going to wear the product I already own because I know where it came from.
It could well be I'm just on my morale high horse (in fact I'm certain of it), but just because something is fun/enjoyable doesn't make it morally right.
Tell me you watch LetterKenny without telling me you watch Letterkenny. ;)
Yeah for sure, to each their own I suppose. It still baffles me personally though. I guess I'm just one of the few that doesn't like to support bad people for doing bad things just because it's what I know or because I feel like I'm too invested.
I personally don't think 5e has a solid base at all, and at this point it feels like they're just slapping duct tape on top of the chewing gum that was originally holding up the popsicle framework.
I don't understand how people still support this company. I've shelved all my old books, and sold off or gave away al my 5E ones.
I now endorse/run other RPGs that are much better mechanically and ethically.
Check out Household/Outgunned by 2LM. Or anything by Rook&Rowan. Trying Vampire the Masquerades new edition that's geared to new players. Genesys or Savage Worlds if you want a tool box game where you create your own setting or use pre-made ones. There are just so many better games and better game companies out there, why even put up with D&D/Hasbro anymore?
I didn't know there was a book of the red list after 'kindreds most wanted'?!?
Shiver is a 'horror movie' themed RPG that doesn't go too graphic and has super easy and fun mechanics. IT also has an expansion that lets you play a 'league of extraordinary people' type of game.
I think they'll leave Mithras out since his future was kinda left in limb, ie
Where did you get the info on Enkidu? I didn't even know he was mentioned outside the red list book?
He's also probably getting kickbacks from all the 'schools' that are giving these new immigrants their in.
Can I claim asylum from Canada, in Canada?
Yeah the mush was a weird setting. It had also gone the route of the masquerade having been broken. I think the cybernetics were to make the human players feel on par with vampires. The NPC security 'MetSec' were all cybered up combat monsters.
Because their greedy, and will continue to serve their own agendas. Politicians don't work for the people, they work for corporations.
Symbaroum. It's a super dark setting and magic is super dangerous to use.
It's my first time playing and I also went knife/bow/pistol Agility focused. It's feeling pretty good so far, and with some parkour I find I can get out of most any jam.
As a first time player though I'm just struggling with how much 'stuff' there is to know. Like what builds what, and what resources to keep, how to get better level weapons, etc. Learning curve is all I suppose, but I've managed to get to day 14 and just need to find out of my horde base on the bridge will survive lol.
There was actually a MUSH called DarkMetal which was super popular in the 90's and was effectively Vampire cyberpunk.
Though in that one the cybernetics didn't work on vampires.
But also, Valheim is how old? Enshrouded only came out this year.
Neither are finished, but I'd say Enshrouded is most certainly going to win the race in the end. They have way more compared to where Valheim was at seven months old.
Ooooo, seconded for Heart and Wildsea. Great and uniqe settings.
It's certainly a crazy setting filled with all sorts of things. I play the skirmish game as well, and there are years and years of stories (i think most in podcast form) about the setting. It's very in depth and creative to be certain.
Can i know a good non 5e game?
