same. itā€™s heart breaking to watch.

okay. iā€™m not going to push the issue further then. like i said, the issue can sometimes be related to chronic stress.

i still recommend speaking with a professional who will recommend herbs based on your constitutional makeup. there may be herb shops in your area. you can also try searching for one online. i recommend my teacher holly poole-kavana of little red bird botanicals. she does zoom consultations and has a sliding scale fee.

magnesium over the course of the menstrual cycle has always helped me. you mentioned youā€™re not a tea fan in a different comment but for me, black cohosh works too. if i donā€™t do either of these things, i just force myself to go to sleep.

people have commented on the medical side which is great because you should try different medications to flush out the infection. i donā€™t need to tell you that untreated UTIs can lead to infections in other parts of the body.

speaking from my personal experience -

chronic UTIs can be sign of a chronic stress. every time i have some shit happening at home, i have gynecological problems. doesnā€™t matter if itā€™s a UTI, yeast infection, BV, or just irritation. fucking always.

a lot of people come into this sub looking for quick fixes with herbs. still herbalism, but itā€™s allopathic herbalism. in vital herbalism, you treat the root cause. and thatā€™s something youā€™ll likely want to speak with a professional herbalist about, since chronic conditions mess with your inherent constitution. itā€™s not as simple as taking marshmallow root since thatā€™s the typical remedy. if you had just gotten this UTI, maybe. but now itā€™s time to speak with a professional.

sometimes the root cause is stress related or is something sitting within your unconscious. with some reflection, iā€™m sure you can uncover a lot. you can start with tara brachā€™s RAIN method.

she was actually my fave teacher so iā€™m okay with itā€¦ but now i definitely donā€™t let anyone borrow my books! i will die with my books buried or burned with me

i loved clockwork angel by cassandra clareā€¦ then i let my english teacher borrow it and never saw it again šŸ˜ nice to see she has other titles out too!

idk if the metro is worst or better now since you interned! but montgomery county = frequent delays on the red line due to construction so be prepared for that. it really comes down to how far away you are from your job & whether you like to do other things such as hiking, road trips, etc where having a car makes more sense due to lifestyle.

if you live frugally with minimal debt you can actually live quite comfortably at that salary. my apartment income requirement is at $50k and iā€™m well above that. if you have lots of debt, then be prepared to say no to some things.

good to know! didnā€™t see this before my comment. a shave makes sense then.

i make around that much and live in pg county. i pay about $1348/monthly for a one bedroom. i think you can find places like this in silver spring or wheaton. more than likely those apartments will be not as updated and will have at least some minor pest issues. because of where i am in pg, any place with at least a 3 star rating on google is passible in my book.

montgomery county is technically apart of the DMV so depending on where you work and where you live, you can probably take the metro/buses and save on a car if you donā€™t have one already. i work in montgomery county and from what iā€™ve seen their bus system is pretty nice.

not a groomer.

i wonder if heā€™ll be colder? furry animals can regular their temperature without being shaved, and having their full coat helps with that. also, depending on the type of coat he is his fur may grow back differently in a negative way. i know this is true for some dog breeds.

from what i understand, unless they have a hard time grooming themselves and are a rag doll or persian, you donā€™t need to shave your cat. so, a sanitary groom probably would have been more appropriate here.

sitting outside, high af, talking to myself and looking at the skyline. doing chores also helps me relax.

i get the point youā€™re trying to make but i donā€™t understand why you said it this way; like youā€™re talking down to me about it.

i have one ā€œsecretā€ cat. i literally emailed management for paperwork and they never followed upā€¦ so i didnā€™t either

this is true. there are some pathways to instructor support though.

from the first second of your video i can tell it looks like he wants to fight the hell out of that cat. like jackson galaxy says, cats will not just ā€œfigure it outā€. you have to ease the introduction and follow what your cats are showing you.

if you can afford $30/month i recommend sajah pophams materia medica program. itā€™s a subscription and he will also have live q+aā€™s too which is nice. sajah is one of the best western herbalists right now - he apprenticed with matthew wood (legendary status) and is super thorough.
