It's because of semantics. Finn specifically said "have never even ever existed". This leaves room for interpretation that the Lich could still exist, so Prismo removed the event that made the Lich exist (the bomb exploding) because he wasn't asked to remove the actual reason. The bomb still fell, it just never exploded- thus the Lich wasn't born
Hindsight is 20/20- Finn should've said "won't have and never will exist" (though obviously he couldn't because he likely doesn't know what made the Lich happen or why)
Like Prismo said- you just need to be super specific when you wish. Leave absolutely zero room for misinterpretation
