Sitting in a bank is the worst thing for it (unless your bank has a High Interest Savings Account). The lesson you should learn, and some of us later than others, is never let your money sit idle. Even if it’s in CDs or a Roth IRA, put it somewhere that it will grow. It’s sitting stagnant in a plain old savings account.
