It's rare to see posts that make sense, or I have been hanging out in the wrong subs. :) Your points are really valid, ultimately there has to be more initiatives from government and not just fake ones like limiting sugars in soft drinks (I am still seeing 60g sugar etc). At least they tried to limit these in schools but still as parents continue to buy those, kids will continue to drink. It's not even real sugar, which is even worse, but it's easier to make drinks tastier with sugar and additives instead of adding real fruit and taste. We are slowly getting used to aspartame taste as "normal" while someone who lives in nature would probably consider it off-tasting or instantly not safe to drink.

We probably won't see the days these changes will affect daily life, but hopefully more people pay attention to what they eat and buy, and actually try to cook at home instead of buying processed foods. Your example of lbs of oreos vs chicken makes so much sense.

I don't mind getting a distribution hub, for example this one I assume is the type you are mentioning, https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Distribution-Speakers-Amplifier-Receiver/dp/B082TSJL92 what difference does this make in comparison to just running new lines or splitting wires (even if I run new wires, such as connecting 2 or 3 wires to the amp terminal) It doesn't seem to process anyhting, does it have some protection in them, I don't see anything, it's just a glorified splitter that's used to make things look pretty right? This is a very interesting point, and I think Ozempic type of drugs combined with synthetic / lab grown foods might be the future when we run into food shortage by next century. Could that be the whole idea behind these? Not just obesity but to get people to actually consume less food (though it's indicating that it really has big implications economically for those companies)

Thanks, I ordered Betta SE Plus based on what I have been reading, plus the difference between regular and plus went down a lot, just $30-$40 vs $100 earlier, so i went with that.

I bet they can, as long as they are installed correctly and hopefully they used quality materials so they don't warp or rust. How would you say the cost compares to traditional roofs? Same/More/Less? from the installer's perspective, is it easier or more complicated to get these put up, since they have to measured exactly vs shingles/asphalt type roofs can be cut easily.
