I'd recommend doing tea at the Boston Public Library! It would be great for a bachelorette. The Gardner is definitely great to check out as well. I wouldn't make a special trip for the Public Market, to be honest.

Five Horses has a cordials license, so all their vodka is flavored. You can't get a proper dirty martini there. Abe and Louie's, Capital Grille or Atlantic Fish on Boylston will have good ones. If you prefer to stay in the South End, Anchovies will give you a very no frills dirty that will get the job done.

Maybe one of the food halls like Time Out Market near Fenway or High Street Place? Sometimes they can be really busy, but they're big so you could likely hang out and not be noticed/bothered if you're just sitting doing homework.
