This happened to me, although I said "fuck it" and went in late. No one questioned it, but I was prepared with my explanation.

Spent $2K on a fairly large sectional and it has been well worth it. Fits our room perfectly.

I have no problem spending on things that noticeably improve my day-to-day life.

I'm honestly over dense urbanization. I'd probably be more amenable to it if it wasn't still car-centric (you still need a car where I live), but driving in dense urban areas is fucking awful.

And if you want to bike, you really are risking your life.

Just got into this game recently and am a big fan.

I love V-Rising and have hundreds of hours in it, but the survival elements are really pretty light. I think it plays more like an ARPG with some survival elements.

The blood system is probably the best "food" implementation I've seen in a game though.

Well, at least this eliminates the possibility of it going on sale 2 weeks after buying it. The price is the price, so buy it whenever you're ready for it.

I actually prefer the look/exterior design of the GH over the regular Highlander. The GH makes me think of a larger RAV4 in terms of looks.

I straight-up treat mine as a 2-row vehicle. The 3rd row is always folded down and I put a cargo organizer in that space.

Only on higher trim levels, but those sorts of sensors are a very common mod. I had the dealer install them before I even picked it up, but my last car I had a security/stereo shop install.

Any future car I buy that doesn't come with them from factory will be similarly modded.

The Darn Tough socks are great. I get the non-wool ones ("Coolmax"), and they are by far the best socks I've ever worn. I usually destroy socks quickly, but these really have held up.

One of my parents was a hoarder. NOT to the level of what is seen on the TV show, but still enough to be a problem.

Suffice it to say, I think before I buy because I don't want useless junk cluttering up my home.

Mind the weight and what your car can actually handle. Most crossovers are rated for a few thousand pounds. Many sedans have very minimal (or no) tow rating.

People basically rave about it on here all the time.

I'm partial to the business center myself, since the shopping experience is much better. It just uses the regular Costco subscription to get in.

IME, if you have a career that can actually take advantage of the higher wages then it works out well. In contrast, a retail or service industry employee might make more in HCOL, but not enough to make up for the increased costs.

Nope, I think about what I do have and how very fortunate I am compared to many others.

The powder is harmless to people and pets (may dry out skin if left in contact, but that's the worst)

2 points on this though. You'll want to make sure to use food-grade DE because I think the other types (like used in pools) can potentially be harmful. Second, you don't want to breath this stuff in. I'd recommend wearing a mask.

(IANAL, so speculation): But being informed of the problem and then not responding to said problem is going to be more difficult to to defend in court.

Who determines what is fair?

And that is the crux of the problem: who determines what is fair, including whether the current system is.

If anyone can answer that...

Seitan is like a cheat code for getting protein.

Yeah, it it's a lot better than those start-stop systems that some new cars have.

After having a hybrid, I'd never want another non-hybrid gas vehicle.

Most of my "frugal" measures are more targeted towards being green than saving green.

I've pretty much never been able to handle raw meat and treated it like a biohazard material.
