Philadelphia out of the Atlantic division? That would be weird.
The contract he signed says otherwise.
He already played in the Euroleague two seasons now, he's showcased himself enough where his actual market is.
That he's not going to waste part of an off-season
"Yup, I'm not playing this season."
You still don't understand it? To become a professional athlete you have to work very hard, but just because you do so doesn't mean the rest of the people with the same goal aren't going to do the same. At the end of the day professional leagues don't have unlimited roster spots, some people are just never going to make it. Some realize it sooner than others, they quit and they focus on something with more likelihood of success. You're going to need a job of some kind and working on your craft as a sportsman might not provide you any money.
Or simply they realized they weren't good enough for that. Just because you read about people who come out from the most fucked up places and end up as professional athletes doesn't mean every kid in the world can do the same. In professional sports success is the exception, not the rule.
Maybe they wanted to but they realized they weren't good enough to go pro.

That's 3M/year less than Jaylen Brown's contract
I guess they would make a Portis-Giannis combo which isn't bad. The problem is that the moment Antetokounmpo goes to the bench the opposing center will turn into Threepeat Shaq.
I wouldn't mind if Tatum sits on the bench the entire game. Let the people who didn't make it past the first round play the entire game.
Rudy Gay was the tall Monta Ellis
They also lost Ilgauskas and Mo Williams felt like he didn't want to be there, was later traded for Baron Davis who barely played.

This person is trying to teach you something for free and that's how you show gratitude?
You expect something different from a thing you've never tried... I'm going to leave it here.
It's a fist weapon, they have no range, they hit hard and fast. This one has something different.
So how can you tell if they are good or not if you don't know the weapon class? It's a different playstyle.
Have you used fist weapons?
Is Star Fist still the best fist weapon for STR builds?

Miami: "No, we don't."
