I dont know if its my worst but by far my most memorable. Was working the prep shift one day and nudged the mandoline. It fell off my station and absent-mindedly I tried to catch it. Well, I just missed the end of it and it slid down my hand as it fell. My hand had perfectly spaced 3 mm cuts from the base of my palm the the tips of my fingers. It was so ridiculous that my chef thought I was playing a prank on him with our raspberry sauce. After I shoved my hand under running water to rinse it off and pulled it back out from under the faucet only to have it immediately fill with blood did he believe I needed a moment.

As a horror fan I'm super stoked. The couple of spoilers are on point for the movie being referenced, not just artistically or name wise but mechanically so far and I've here for it.

I'm going to echo just upping the land count. Since you're playing landfall and trying to bring them back from the gy too, there are some real good utility lands you can toy around with to fill the slots. [[Nurturing peatland]] being the first one I'd look at. I play a [[lord windgrace]] based around lands in and out of graveyard. The amount of lands that benefit you by sacking them from play to bring them back into another landfall and use of their ability makes this really fun to play with when you get into it. [[Memorial to folly]] being another decent one to repeat.

As someone who's been playing magic since the 90s and watching wubby here and there since the musicaly/asmr stuff, this isn't the progression I thought his content would take and im so here for it.

Personally for me there are 2 major things missing to keep me coming back. Yet again this season, I started a character, got to 100 real quick, the first day of the season was my day off so day 1 i was almost 80 by the end of it. Made a joke with my friend that i'll hit 100 and see him next season. Well, low and behold, I hit 100 and have maybe played one day out of the past 2 weeks.

A wardrobe for builds like d3 had to be able to jump around builds easily was a huge boon to playing a game of this style.

The major one for me however, is the endless progression that d3 has. My stupid little brain doesn't care as much when I'm no longer filling up an exp bar for some reason, (grim dawn was the only game I didn't mind this in). I'm not saying give us endless paragon scaling like d3, but even just a cosmetic number to see, like d3s paragon levels for the whole account. Or what if every level after 100 you just got a loot bag. Like turning in a whisper or something.

Only thing I was thinking of the entire time.

I've been toying around with my muldrotha list more and more lately and have bought a mothman to put in there. having gotten to play with him a few times now, I think if I were to swap the commander to something else while keeping the self mill/lab-man goal it'd be Sidisi over mothman.

I will join the echo chamber, that playmat is fucking awesome.

As much as I love this I think it would've been even better to still have the arm dangling out of this frogs mouth. It still looks great and I'd happily play this in place of mine

I saw that in theaters, I would've been a senior in high school I think. Was never religious and a friend of mine wanted to go see it but didn't want to go alone so I thought I'd be nice. I had no clue what I was in for and to this day I feel some of the gore and torture in that film goes above and beyond some of the notably gory horror movies...I also haven't seen it since so it could just be my memory playing with me.

I heard someone say this once and gave it a shot and never looked back. Burgeoning isn't a landfall card, it's a wheels card. If your landfall deck has a ton of incidental card draw you should be fine, but burgeoning plays best in a deck where you refill after playing out all the lands, not a deck where you may actually be wanting to play lands for specific reasons.

I will admit I'm biased in the fact my landfall commander is [[lord windgrace]] and my draw engine requires lands in hand, but Ive been running and playing around with the build for 5 years now and I haven't felt like I'm missing anything after swapping out burgeoning.

Edit:in simic landfall it's probably better cause most of the time you play a land and draw for it.
