Pick one, I can't do both.

Would maybe make a difference in PVP because we could just all put on Malfeasance. Just have to land enough shots, not all of them. In PVE... Don't know, honestly. I guess it depends on the raid, my group assigns mechanics to the same people each time so I'm used to dealing with specific things.

Okay, that's absolutely bizarre, but can confirm this also worked for me. Changed mine to French, showed up instantly. I had raised a Steam support ticket for this but I've updated it to mention this as a solution and closed it now.

Yeah, I also do not have the code in the list, having bought the collector's edition through steam.

Edit: The CD key shows up if you change your Steam client language to something other than English. Why? No idea. But it worked.

They won't learn, if they're going to AFK then it's no detriment to them to keep sitting there until someone completes the mission. They're not spending any time or effort on it. They think that's for other people.

So am I, and... Yeah, no, story and gameplay have both been good so far. That's why I don't get it.

Sure, but there's "I'm not enjoying this" and there's the guy a few posts down who is apparently genuinely angry at the story. I don't understand why.

Huh. That's a lot of people not enjoying this. I have no idea what they're missing, I'm enjoying it and we're all doing the same story.

Unfortunately, there's a difference between poison and Poison.

I got pulled along for one of Alexander Prime's teleports once, by using FH right before a time stop went off. That was weird. Think I snapped back into place as soon as time resumed.

Meanwhile, I accidentally applied it to my Drifter in a radiation sortie a few days ago and became unable to use my self-rez because I was stuck in the spawn animation for almost the whole duration.

shitty pay to win system model where the more money your parents had the more classes you have unlocked

I'm told it's even worse than it initially looks, because that's completely dependent on your parents allowing you that benefit after character creation. There are reports of some players getting cut off entirely and still being restricted in the help they can get because their parents' classes count against it.

CD key doesn't seem to be available on mine yet.

Edit: Oh, wait, is it the preorder bonus content? Never mind, I did that already, I thought I remembered there being a separate one for early access.

I know how the damn thing works, but somehow I immediately start fucking it up every other time I'm in there.

Unironically, I would pay one of my friends for his time to help me with that. I've only had two rolls worth keeping out of 20+ drops so far and not a single Star-Eater yet.

Yeah, I really wasn't expecting much from it until I tried it in Verity during my run last weekend. Hit a Grim with a ricochet bullet and killed all of them in one shot. Consider me convinced, I'm going to be carrying this around for a while.

No, we're generally pretty thorough about it.

Sure, I meant in D&D in general. It can be if you've got access to mods, though, it's included in the big 5E Spells one.

Gale is a wonderful cook, makes multiple elaborate courses, uses every single pot, pan, knife, and cutting board in camp, and somehow never ends up washing any dishes.

Half the reason to learn Prestidigitation is to get out of washing dishes.

I genuinely have no interest in this as a proposition. I'm sure most people would be happy with it but I just don't enjoy the banner playstyle, and I keep forgetting I'm even using Consecration when I'm not actually on a solar subclass.

Is it a surprise that I don't remember a conversation I haven't heard in three years?

Pyramidion strike joke. If you joined the game after Beyond Light you won't have had a chance to run it, but long story short, irascible old man Asher Mir was insistent that there was a lake of radiolaria at the end of the strike, which never showed up while we were in the strike because the Vex moved it. One of Ghost's lines had him questioning if the lake was metaphorical and Asher yelling back that it's not a metaphor.

Amatsu is pretty similar to FF14's Bismarck - both flying whale-like things, both able to control the weather. Bismarck is a lot bigger, and only damaged properly when you're on its back, but you can't stay on it while it's flying freely so it has to be harpooned and dragged against the flying crystal you're using as a platform and as bait for it to keep it still. It's not unlike the Dah'ren Mohran in that respect, and if it succeeds in destroying the platform before you kill it, your party falls out of the sky and you fail the encounter. If you mixed Dah'ren or Jhen Mohran's fight style with a giant Amatsu you'd get an almost identical fight for Monster Hunter.

People try to avoid them, so they're less familiar with the mechanics. That gets them killed more, so they have a bad experience, so they try to avoid them more, and so the loop repeats.
