Half life 1 and 2 and even Alyx was revolutionary in gaming. Valve is a developer that elevates what is possible in gaming and makes games that are legendary because of that. They might make hl3 if they are convinced that it has something groundbreaking going for it. But nobody knows for sure because they don't communicate shit
