Not overreacting. My husband and I are together for over 15 years, and I'm fine with a $50 dollar present or a nice dinner together. $1000 dollar is ridiculous, unless you make that amount in a day, or it's for a really, really special occasion (which a birthday is nog imo).

It's been only a year. Maybe you should re-evaluate this relationship, because you both seem to have different ideas about how to spend money wisely, and at 30 you should be more or less on the same path regarding finances.

It's always hard to pick just one, but if I have to choose, it will be Hold me now, by Johnny Logan, for Ireland in 1987, because it stood the test of time for me, since I still love it after all these years.
But I also really love Fai Rumore, Molitva and Lane Moje.

Me too! It was my favourite of that year. I still listen to it regularly. Such a beautiful song.

Sertab Erener - Every way that I can. Turkey 2003.
I really like the song, I like the audio track. It won, but I thought it then, and still think it now when I hear and see the live performance: it sounds off key to me.

I seriously despise these people. Your literal job is to vote without bias and politics in mind. That's why we have judges in the first place. If you can't do that, remove yourself from the position. But this lame "oh I just couldn't do it", is incredibly spineless.

This is one of the reasons surrogacy should be banned. Women are not incubators and babies are not merchandise.
I'm sorry for the people who can't conceive, but there are ohter ways to care for children then needing a baby to be your exact DNA. I don't care if I get downvoted into oblivion, surrogacy is just wrong. Even when it's not for money, you get shit like this. And don't get me started on the few times is does end well, because I'm absolutely positive the stuff OP describes happens more often than not.

Oh, and OP is NTA. It's your body, your health. Let them wait it out at home. I wouldn't even tell them you've gone in labour. Let your trusted husband be your support and everybody else can go pound sand. Good luck with this birth and the recovery OP. I wish you well.

The audio track is great. I listen to it all of the time on Spotify. His singing was terrible and that's why it didn't qualify.

I still don't understand how Blood & glitter by Lord of the lost ended up so low. I don't think it should have won, but it was a solid metal song and it was well performed. I think Germany has send in a lot of crap songs in the last years, and deserved to be in the bottom, but not this song. It was actually good.

Fairytale. I just can't understand why everyone loves it so much. I love a nice folky tune, love a violin, but I can't just tell you how much I despise this song. I know it's an irrational hate, but I can't help it. The lyrics are just blah and I can't stand Rybaks face.

It's one of my most disliked winners. I can't stand it.

Og3ne are amazing live, but that song was soooooo blah. With a good song, they would've done a lot better, I'm positive of that. If they weren't so talented, that song wouldn't even have made the finals.

The UK's performance this year, was like last year: the singles were quite good and catchy, but the performance lacked on so many levels. I really liked "I wrote a song". I still listen to it on Spotify, but she didn't have the strength to perform as powerful as Sam Ryder did. And this year, it was exactly the same with Olly (plus that grimy set didn't do him any favours imo).

They will do reasonably well with these bland pop songs, but I don´t think those types of songs will ever win.

Since Fuego did so well, I feel Cyprus is sending some sort of version of that song every year. It gets tiresome.

I loved Dami Im, Jessica Mauboy, Kate M-H and Voyager. Those were really great entries I still listen to. But this years entry was incredibly lame imo. And not just mine, because it seems a lot of people are tired of those kind of songs in ESC (I mean the 'incredibly in your face we all should love eachother' lyrics).

I wanted to comment that and then I saw yours, lol. I hate it when covers of a series don't have the same design principles!

I'm a dog person too and I agree. I hate it when people just abandon their pets because their too lazy to look after them, but if you have an agressive dog and a child, and you aren't equiped to deal with that behaviour, you need to find a better place for that dog. I'm sure most bad dog behaviour can be corrected, but not everybody is able to do that, and sometimes it's okay to give up, because of your safety and especially the safety of a child.

I really liked the Casual Vacancy. It's a character study I guess. But I just really like how she writes people and all of their good and bad. I guess I just really like the way she writes, and even when it is 'boring', I still like the words JK puts on paper.

The first book in the series is my least favourite, because I wasn't invested as much in Strellacott yet, and I guessed the killer very quickly, because it was in the title (as soon as we knew the brother died young because of an 'accident', I knew the cuckoo was working the siblings out of the nest). But I still loved it. I just really like JK's writing. She can write about anything and I'll read it.
I liked the second book better than the first, and I don't get the 'hate' for the Silkworm.

Even if she wasn't trying, it wouldn't be fair to call for a boycott. Even if she decided to design patterns only in size XS and S, it would be unfair to call for a boycott. People are free to produce whatever they wish to produce. Not for me? Fine, I'll go somewhere else. No need to prevent others from enjoying the product though.

I'm fat and I've knitted PK sweaters. Her designs go up to bust 159 cm (62 inch). How is that not size inclusive?
I also knit designs of other designers, who only go up to size XL, for friends or family, because it may just be a pretty design. Who cares?
Why do we have to force people to make their products for everyone? Does each and every baker need to make every item in their bakery also in a gluten free option? Or can we agree that would be too much work and frankly ridiculous?
It's nice when there are some clothing options for me, but let's face it, most people aren't fat and my body is kind of my problem and I'm fine with that. Not every designer, chef or person needs to cater to my specific needs. Let people produce whatever they feel like producing and if it's not for you, well...go and shop somewhere else. It's beyond stupid to force people to make everything for everyone.

Thank you. I have decided against it for now. I don't want to make my problem worse.
