Try silicone with long hair. They will rip a bit easier but have more elasticity and dont "pull" your hair like a standard cap. I'd always recommend having your primary swim cap and then a back up in your bag. They rip fairly often if you swim frequently. They should be considered disposable imo.

The literal first thing to go in your extreme apocalypse scenario is the electric grid. Oil reserves would last well beyond a collapsed power grid and your oversized battery pack. You have 5 days max before that truck is a giant heap of worthless metal and batteries.
You can store fuel for a long time incredibly efficiently. Diversifying into anything electric in case of an apocalypse is a GIANT waste of money.
The levels you guys go to justify the lightning purchase is comical. A portable generator capable of powering essential utilities in a home is sub $1K. You can refill it with a gas can for weeks on end and it doesn't require me to go find some other area of town with power to sit in a lot and charge my truck. We are talking several minutes to refuel both the truck and a generator but you sitting in a parking lot for an hour is wayyyyyy nicer? LOL

Yes, assuming you decided to full charge before an unexpected storm got out of control and took out power across the city. When I run out of fuel, I can refill. You can't recharge. Sounds like a scenario I'd never want to be in.

What do you do when the power gets knocked out? We had a huge windstorm come through and knock down thousands of trees in my city over the weekend. Power knocked out for 50k residents, still ongoing. It’s now day 3 post storm. I spent most of yesterday rolling around the neighborhood with a chainsaw. What can your lightning do that mine currently can’t? Because as it stands now, you’re likely out of power, completely worthless and I’m still rocking a 3/4 tank and plan to head back out shortly.
