Feel free to replace with another word. Do you agree with the point otherwise?
“they are literally the ones who were attacked” This is so oversimplified and ignores so much context that I’m convinced it’s done in bad faith.
The 10/7 attack was of course abhorrent and immoral but to use that to claim Israel are the victims here is absurd.
Civilians on both sides are victims. To claim anything otherwise or to intentionally ignore one side’s suffering (no matter where you’re from) is just bigoted.
Edit: lol at people downvoting “civilians on both sides are the victims”
That’s harsh. It’s bad enough that they got kicked out of the flight
Wtf is the point of this post?
You can point this out about anything anyone ever cares about. There’s always more stuff. You can only focus on a few issues at once.
Ffs this made me laugh
This is regularly misattributed to Hans Zimmer but it was in fact from a track called Mind Heist by Zack Hamsey, which happened to be used in the Inception trailer
Please do not apply actual suction unless you know your partner likes it. Not everyone does, and it can be off putting. I can confirm, the penis does not work like a straw.
Lol somehow you managed to turn your responses negative for no reason. Could have just said: “oh yeah we did that in 92 and it worked well”
‘Already been done’ just shoots down the idea unnecessarily and you didn’t even mean to do it
That’s not how it works. Even if it goes 100x, still very few people get rich because most people will sell as soon as their initial capital goes 2x, 3x etc. The higher you go, the less likely people will keep holding. So no, if BTC goes 100x it doesn’t mean that everyone here will have 100x their capital. This is literally basic human behaviour.
My dude. Don’t be fooled by what you see in the media about ED being this shameful thing or ED meds being for old people only. I have used cialis in my late 20s and it was life changing. I just wish I knew about it in my early 20s. No one cares. It’s not a bad thing. There’s no permanent damage. You’ll be okay. Good luck
It should be challenged in any case. But normally your government and the international community are in agreement e.g. in the case of Russia v Ukraine so you don’t have to waste your energy debating people. In this case my government and many other western govs are in complete blind support of Israel’s ethnic cleansing operation. And some of my friends too. It’s a divisive issue.
Sorry for the misunderstanding but I wasn’t talking about that specific comment. But I am including that comment in the set of unhelpful comments on this thread. It’s unhelpful to question the ‘want’ when it’s something so normal. Yeah if you were buying a gold-plated lambo I’d be like “hey but do you really need it”?
A new macbook? I don’t know why OP has to justify why that would increase their quality of life. They already said it would and people are like “oh but does it REALLY?”
Fortunately there are many helpful comments in the thread too which don’t question the ‘want’ - they start from there and give good advice on the finances or the approach to purchasing - and of course OP is being much more receptive to those.
I think it’s possible to help and not be patronizing (even mildly gaslighty - making someone think they’re unreasonable for wanting something as normal as a new macbook). You can say hey it’s valid if you think this would make you happy, and it actually might, but you just can’t afford it right now.
Telling someone the thing they want doesn’t actually make them happy therefore they should stop wanting it, is only a way to make the person giving the advice feel better.
Mate honestly, people like to be annoying about this stuff like: “oh but will this ACTUALLY make you happy though?”
I wish I could follow these people around and ask that about every single decision they make. Buying a kitkat? “Oh but will that really make you happy?” Booking gig tickets? “Is this a want or a need?”
You know what, gadgets make some people happy. I don’t spend money on luxury stuff. I don’t care for expensive fashion or cars or fine dining. But I love gadgets. A new MacBook would absolutely increase my quality of life. Maybe you’re similar to me. If you are, all power to you my friend.
4 years of payments sounds pretty painful though ngl. But life’s also pretty short.
You’re telling us if your investments reach $900k and you thought there’s a possibility of a major crash, you wouldn’t cash out? $900k is still life changing for most. You underestimate how hard it is to have life changing money riding on a few volatile projects.
I get the point you’re making, but “ChatGPT didn’t get acceptable until v3” makes no sense.
ChatGPT is the chat product based on the base model ‘GPT’. Until after GPT3 there was no such thing as ChatGPT. The first ChatGPT was built on top of GPT v3.5.
I love seeing the types of posts that pop up on here as soon as there’s a few weeks of a bull run.
140% up on my $1k investment.
“So anyway guys.. what country would you move to with your $5M gains?”
“He still has appeared to have good, coherent moments.”
It’s baffling to me that this is the bar for the presidency of the United States. We’re truly living in idiocracy.
Biden is capable of the job
