Interesting. That definitely looks like the indie exclusive. Mine has the same splatter color/pattern except the transparent portion is darker. Unfortunately discogs doesn't have matrix/runout codes yet as that could help to tell if yours is a pressing defect or if they sent the wrong version.

Did the sticker on the front say that it was this version or did it say black + red splatter? The black portion of the black + red splatter is transparent, so it looks similar to the indie-exclusive under certain lighting. You would never be able to tell it was supposed to be transparent from the mock-ups online though.

Great! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to checking them out

Good to know. I guess I can live with MP3s if the live tracks end up actually existing. Hopefully they just forgot to include them in the download link and it will be fixed later.

I'm interested in those live version tracks it includes. Probably going to buy this when I get home from work anyway, but can anyone who already has comment on how good the recording quality is on those tracks? Also, is the digital download MP3 or lossless?

I think about it all the time, but unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to switch to a dumb phone as my work requires me to have a smartphone for two-factor authentication.

Instead I've been using a smart flip phone like the Galaxy Z Flip or Motorola Razr+, and I've found the form factor does make me use my phone a lot less. If I'm just checking notifications or responding to a text, I'm doing that on the small external display where I don't have access to open YouTube or Reddit and get sucked in. I have to actually flip the phone open to get to those apps, which makes it a much more intentional action instead of something I do accidentally out of habit. It's still not as foolproof as a dumb phone would be, but it's definitely a step in the right direction if you're required to have a smartphone for work or any other reason.

If you don't like sparkling water drinks like LaCroix that just taste like they were stored in close proximity to fruit, then maybe try Izze? It actually has fruit juice in it so it's a lot more flavorful, but it still doesn't have any added sugar or artificial sweeteners so it isn't overpoweringly sweet.

They can expect me to throw away my Spotify subscription as well then. I switched to Tidal recently and the only reason I've still been using Spotify as well is because the car thing is really convenient to use when I'm driving. But if that will no longer be usable then I have no reason to keep Spotify installed on my phone anymore.

Can't you read? It's a meow meow, not a kitty cat.

I could be remembering wrong but that looks like a Barnes & Noble price sticker

I think taking a few quick photos while remaining seated is a bit different than standing up and blocking people's views so you can record the whole thing.

Why bother when brownian motion will do the job for you?

Yes, the internal display is fairly resistant to drop damage when closed, but the hinge is still a weak point. It only took two drops to break the hinge on my Flip 4. The inner display still works perfectly, but the hinge is crooked and can't be opened past 90°.

Yeah looks like it is just an outer sleeve. I must have misremembered.

The difference being that the mistake that made Sega stop making consoles had to do with the console itself. They didn't stop making consoles because people weren't buying their PC games.

I highly doubt Sony is going to stop making consoles because people aren't buying their games on PC. And even if every PC gamer on this subreddit stopped buying their games, I think you're underestimating how many Steam users will still be willing to link a PSN account to play their games.

Don't get me wrong though. I do think the account linking situation is stupid, there's just no way their failures in the PC space will impact them enough to force them out of the console space.

Is this a family guy quote or am I reading it in Peter Griffin's voice for no reason?

The store near me also said there's an exclusive cover variant if you pre-order the vinyl at the listening event. No idea what it looks like though.

Yeah, hopefully that is what's going on. It's just a shame there's such a large chance I won't be able to help convince them to keep movies around.

Really nice to see stores adding movies instead of dropping them for a change, but it's a shame GameStop will only be selling them at 170 of their ~4400 locations. If I get lucky enough to have one near me and they're selling them at MSRP without insane markups like Barnes & Noble, then they'll definitely get my business. With Best Buy gone there's nowhere good left to go for new movies where I live.

I know that. I'm saying I hope this acoustic version we heard is Jenna's version and the theorized alternate version with more production is the single

If they're actually banning gay people for no reason then that's bad but why are people so up at arms about needing to post trans rights stuff on the server for a Sonic mobile game? I guess I don't understand why people are usually fine with mods banning other off-topic stuff but when it's trans rights stuff suddenly you're allowed to talk/post about it wherever you want and no one can complain.

Granted I'm not on the server and don't know the whole situation. If there was a dedicated off-topic channel on the server and people were talking about trans rights there then I wouldn't have a problem with it and would agree the mods are in the wrong here.
