If you're already invested in a cordless system it's worth it. And anybody in these subs should have a cordless drill or two.

I'm sure it's not like that all over. But soccer is massive in coastal southern California and every parent wants their kid in club instead of rec. I'd think we those numbers, at least by U8. If you include rec it'd be far more. Most clubs around here are running 3-4 teams per age level for the younger kids.

It's all good man. I didn't mean it to come across as an accusation, more just a comment that people frequently post things that sound totally legit to a layman (I don't know a damn thing about cows and how thick their necks are relative to a steer) but turn out to be wrong. You had me believing, I just happened to look up more info because I was curious how much of an outlier this guy is.

Small head, thin neck. Plus no male "hardware". Picture sucked, but cows that aren't bred don't have much of a bag.

Classic Reddit.

It's a he [1,2], though part of his "hardware" was removed.

I'm confused. Is Joe a senile old man that needs a nap, or a criminal mastermind who controls the court system, AG, SoS, Grand Juries, and media to weaponize the DOJ against his enemies?

Thanks again. Circling back around after I got a few days to use it. I paired it with the IMS 22g basket even though it came with its own because the reviews said the stock basket was lousy. I never used it so I can't comment but the IMS basket is great. Been using it with about 21g and it makes a great shot. There were also a few comments that the LILQ filter wasn't balanced well and too heavy - I haven't found that to be the case, it balances right at the point where the handle hits the filter. And the walnut handle looks awesome.

Two very minor complaints:

  • It is much harder to clear the puck than my old PF and it makes a bit more of a mess. I might have to look at a bigger knock box.
  • My dosing ring doesn't fit quite as tight as on the Breville PF. Not a big deal, just need to twist it on tighter. It fits snug in my Barista Pro though, and that's what's important.

He didn't act alone and wasn't the mastermind

I get that, it just doesn't make him not a first degree murderer in my book. Not a lawyer, and I don't know diddly about Canadian law. If you were coerced/talking into assisting in killing someone once, sure I could see some defense against 1st degree murder charges. But 49 times... nah, you're a serial killer.

Yeah, I was going to comment more on that. At 11, if they had an interest in track I could see letting them up the speed, but I just don't think it's worth it. For injury, for overuse, for lack of organized training program. Let them run long distance speeds and just get some energy out, build endurance, and work on turnover. It'll help for sports in general and give them a base if they want to build on it for track/CC or sport-specific training. Running a half mile at a 2 mile pace is mostly a waste, IMHO.

I doubt that you can use any ole card. But didn't yours come with one? It should be on a little sleeve on the owners manual.

I haven't tried it on the Telly, but my experience with such cards is that they can work through a wallet, but it's less reliable. I used to keep my card for work in my wallet and some doors opened through it no problem while others had me rubbing my wallet across the sensor waiting to hear the latch release.

This is purely based on Reddit Rep? Excellent, because my high-diving game is weak sauce.

Is this a decent speed for their ages? Should we shoot for faster or be pretty satisfied where we are?

You shouldn't worry about that. If the 11 y.o. is interested in track or CC, fine, they can try to improve speed, at their own pace. But it's not necessary. My main concern would be that it's not too fast for them. I'd go run 2 miles with them, at their pace, and use that as a baseline on the treadmill. Let them adjust if they want, though I probably wouldn't let the 8 y.o. change it.

I'm with the others, I don't love the idea of treadmills for kids. Hell, I hate treadmills for adults. But I get the need to get some exercise. I'd kill the 1/2 mile routine, that's a waste. They can get better exercise than that in the backyard. And depending on your space I'd make sure there's lots to do in the backyard.

It shouldn't damage it, you'll still get airflow. In general cutting off inflow to a centrifugal pump just means that the impeller has less to move, so it actually uses less energy. However, depending on the control mechanism it could run faster because of less work, and if it relies on cooling from the fluid movement it's not getting that either. With my own system, it just seems to run a bit louder when I restrict the inflow.

All that said, going down to 2" will have a massive impact on how effective your system is. I would minimize any sections that small as much as possible. Run 4" for the system and just reduce to 2" at the equipment if needed, after the blast gate.

Yeah, I don't see how that clears it up at all. Guy lived on a pig farm (body disposal), had objects used for kidnapping, forcible confinement, sexual assault, and murder. They had DNA of a bunch of the women on the farm, and he claims to have killed 49 people. That's certainly premeditated; even if there was another person involved it seems like Pickton was still guilty in the first.

How did that come out? The Wiki wasn't clear. Originally he was tried for first degree, then it just jumps to him being found guilty for second-degree. They found body parts, murder weapons, a video of him talking about his gun with homemade "silencer", and bragging about wanting to make it an "even 50 victims". And he had been charged with attempted murder of a sex worker he had handcuffed and stabbed. Seems like first degree charges would have been a slam dunk.

God no, he's been outspoken against him, at least he was during his presidency.

Contrary to MAGA belief, 'Born in the USA' is a protest song, not a patriotic anthem.

Is this something that could be easily trenched along the foundation and then connected up to the main junction?

Yes, provided you have a clear path with nothing permanent in the way, it's really just trenching and dropping a line. So long as you know the required depth, call Dig Alert, have the right shutoff valves, etc.

DIY? or just use the yellow flex piping? How much can I do vs what must be done by a licensed professional?

I hate to be that guy, but if you're asking, I think you might consider getting a plumber out there. At least for the hookup. You can save money by digging the trench and finding a guy who's OK just laying the pipe and connections and doing the hookup. It's not hard, but you don't seem to have the basics down.

I don't know Idaho law, nor your specific area. In my area this absolutely needs to be permitted and done by a licensed contractor.

You're a kinder man than I, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I think they're shitty people, that claim to be religious because it gives them an excuse for their shitty behavior and prejudices, for the low low cost of a percentage of their earnings and spending Sunday morning in a church. And the church leaders know that they can amass significant political pull, skirt laws, and make a ton of money tax free, by giving these shitty people a club to be a part of. Everybody wins*

\Except people not in the cult.)

Do you care to offer a counterpoint, or just stupid quips?

I'm not religious, but he claims to be and that he's never sinned.

My nutjob Christian relatives' core belief was that all men are born sinners and that only through asking for the Lord's forgiveness can one be a Christian and go on to Heaven. It was the only consistent thing from them - you have to go to church on the regular, to repent for your sins, or you're not Christian.

But they're all gaga over Trump and not bothered at all that he has never asked for forgiveness.
