Weird. Personally I haven't had any issues but I haven't had to reach out to support. I think there's a way to link your YouTube page to your profile idk. My music does technically have a topic page but that's just bc of YouTube specifically and just upload on my channel separately. But also can see the topic posts attached to my channel. Idk it's weird, sorry you had a bad experience. I've heard their support kinda sucks from a few people
Using AI for stuff like nerdcore just to match a voice to a character is fine but using AI to write or create the song is wack asf. To me it's like the same as using ghostwriters, it's like why even be in music if you aren't going to actually make it. I think both these are equally shitty and I don't respect "artists" that use methods like that. Hell, I don't consider them artists at all

I mean it's kind of always been like that, if you want to get technical about it. Freestyle at its basic definition is no specific topic and just free-form writing (freestyling is a type of writing). Although I do get the confusing bc old school artist DID do a lot of off the dome freestyles and that takes immensely more skill. But, as you've noticed, the newer age of popular rappers don't have that level of skill. Juice World did, he was awesome with freestyles.
So technically it's all still freestyling, just different types of freestyling
I saw this one battle on tiktok (idk who it was) and one guy said something like "what imma do to Bob.....DOODLEBOB...mehoynoymehoy" and the crowd was understandably silent asf. Someone even hit him with the courtesy cough lmfaoo. My friend and I quote this shit all the time it was brutal cringe
Distrokid is great, I've been using it for years. I will say distro will tell you it can take 1-4 weeks to get to stores, but I've never had an issue with getting it out at the 1 week mark if I really Want to rush a release
