I’m not doing this man. You’re arguing against reality. The US is both a democracy and a republic. I don’t know why that’s such a problem for you unless you actually are one of those people that doesn’t like democracy as a concept because it sounds too similar to democrat lmfao.
Nope. I’m sorry that this is so triggering for you but the US is a democratic Republic. You’re the one pretending that the actual definition of the word is invalid.
That’s like saying ummm akshually, I drive an Accord, NOT a Honda!
All Accords are Hondas and to feel the need to clarify makes it sound as though to have a problem with the umbrella group.
Honestly this all just comes down to dipshits whose brains can’t process more than:
“Republic? That sounds like Republican so that’s the good one! Democracy? Like Democrats??? Booooooooo!”
In college I was on an improv team called Pajama Bin Laden
Yeah I feel like it was just a thing boomers pretended everyone was doing. I still see them say shit like “my generation was buying a house and starting a family at your age and you’re eating tide pods”
Regardless of the why, this is what we currently have. If these are still our two choices come November, are you voting Biden? Or are you pro screwing everyone else over?
But the story is pushed by the young couple.
I would love for someone in a debate or interview or any public forum to just cut him off and say “Can you please stop referring to yourself in the third person and just speak like a regular adult?”
I’m like a dog maintaining cars
Alright this guy’s just gonna keep going in circles so it’s not even worth analyzing. It sucks that he’s willing to fuck your lives up but some people are just pieces of shit I guess.
Again, they continue to dishonestly pretend that not voting can somehow protect you. Keep in mind that not voting and losing is the end. You don’t come back from that.
This person is being delusional pretending that there’s an option to try again. It also means that they are comfortable with you suffering for four years if not more.
This guy wants to put your rights in jeopardy. Don’t listen to him. Vote.
I don’t want to describe this tactic as gaslighting because gaslighting requires actual cleverness. What he’s doing here is just straight up lying? Idunno it’s weird, because it’s been well established that voting third party or not voting increases the chance of Trump winning which in turn puts marginalized groups at risk. So idk why he thought that would work or anything lol. He’s kind of grasping at straws at this point.
Notice how he’s trying to reframe it. He’s after what he feels HE deserves and willing to risk the rights of others to get it. Unwilling to compromise for the good of everyone.
Do not settle for less than what you deserve.
Again, letting perfection get in the way of progress. Weird dishonest little guy.
See how they continue to dishonestly present voting to protect the marginalized as fascism? Makes you wonder where their allegiances are actually aligned🤔
This is how you know that they are either not arguing in good faith or are too dumb to recognize the reality of the situation and that simply “demanding it” requires commitment to losing the game potentially and bringing harm to you. This is what you’re dealing with. Stubborn babies throwing a tantrum and willing to treat you and your rights as collateral damage. Don’t engage with losers like this.
Exactly why anyone reading this should disregard this guy. He can’t comprehend that turning back on the road to facism is progress. Does anyone actually think this guy is worth listening to?😂
Recognize reality and don’t let perfection get in the way of progress. And don’t listen to sabateurs like this guy
No, not playing this game. At this point, I genuinely can’t trust that you’re being genuine because your logic is so wild so let’s quit with this because it’s a waste of time.
Anyone reading this who is unsure of whether or not to vote, ask yourself, if you were doing something that could burn your house down, would you not do that thing or would you do it, blame the builder, then vow to get a new house and not burn that one down.
Ask yourself what’s more important, being a smug asshole, or protecting your fellow Americans who just dealt with insane discrimination since 2016, knowing that not voting could open the door for the party that has vowed to hurt them harder.
Be a good person and vote.
“If you do that the house can catch fire.”
“Fine, then if that happens I’ll make sure that the next house doesn’t catch fire. The builder should have used fewer flammable materials. Not my fault.”
That’s how you fucking sound.
So if it’s Biden or Trump you honestly can’t bring yourself to say that Biden is better for the country? That’s just pathetic cowardice. You can criticize him while still recognizing that he’s better than Trump.
So if a woman, person of color, or LGBTQ person asked you “why won’t you vote to protect me? Why is your anger at the DNC more important than my safety if Trump wins?” What would you say?
I completely get where you’re coming from but you’re refusing to acknowledge the reality of your decision. You abstain, Trump wins, then what? Better luck next time? What if there isn’t a next time? You are right. I am admitting that. But the scenario we are given is too dire to play these games. We have already lost so much and you’re acting so stubborn ready to gamble away more people’s right. It’s so fucked. Yes, it’s the DNC’s fault, but you don’t have to help them lose.
Voters have a responsibility. That’s literally the whole point of democracy.
But go ahead and tell women, trans folk, the entirety of the LGBTQ community, and minorities that you couldn’t be bothered to help protect them because you wanted to feel smugly superior and teach the DNC a lesson.
Man, sorry but it’s so messed up how comfortable you are with risking giving this to Trump. If he wins, people who abstained/voted third party are to blame.
I would love to live in a country with ranked choice voting where voting third party is viable, but unfortunately that isn’t the reality. It fucking sucks, but unless a candidate gets, unprecedentedly huge, you are throwing your vote away and handing it to the opposition.
If Democracy wins you lose nothing, but if Trump wins you fucked up big time and brought us all down with you.
What the hell is this video? The first one is the only plausible one. The rest are just stating what happened but as if it’s bad. One of them is “Biden accuses Trump of an affair!”
And then it’s just a clip of Biden describing what was proven in court to have happened. That’s proof of senility? If Trump said “Your son is a felon!” Would you say that proved him to be senile too?
Did Biden trip on his dick at that debate? Obviously. If that was all I’d seen of him I’d be second guessing his mental state, but I’ve seen plenty of him before and after that where he does have it together. He had a bad night. But even if he was fuckin brain dead, if it’s him or Trump, he has my vote. Can you say the same?
Man, this is just sad. You just keep saying I’m doing what you’re doing lol.
Words having definitions is still reality dude… America being both a republic and a democracy was never up for debate. Nobody ever was this staunchly opinionated about it until Trump’s movement positioned the right to not be able to fully embrace democracy because his actions were antithetical to it. That’s all this is. They had to find a way to justify democracy being bad. And all the morons who just associate Republican with republic latched onto that because they’re sheep.
In the same way that if you said a TV isn’t a TV, it’s a viewing screen, I’m gonna tell you it’s both because that’s how language works. No one is inventing a new definition. You’re just insisting a different one.
To everyone else in the thread, ever notice how these dorks can never explain why it’s one not the other? They’re making the claim but all they can do is shit their pants over a word that sounds like another word they don’t like. It’s pathetic.
