Alternatively, you can get some nice cancer! Extended Inpatient visits also net you free grippy boys
This has strong “If the pizza isn’t here in 30 minutes it’s free” vibes. I don’t THINK that’s how the law works, but I am open to being corrected.
I (27m) had been dealing with headaches consistently throughout my days for about a month. Had just had dinner with my mom the night before, and she told me I should probably see a doctor.
The next morning, I got up for work, went to the bathroom, and just didn’t feel right. I felt woozy and couldn’t think. I fell down in the bathroom. I got up and sat on the toilet, and my brain was like “I guess we should call out of work today”, and had a nonsensical conversation with my boss, where I cried and apologized for not being able to come in, and just kept repeating that I didn’t feel good.
My girlfriend at the time let me go back to sleep. I woke up about 4 hours later, and asked her to take me to the hospital. I had never had blood drawn in my life, and that was the first thing they wanted to do. About an hour after they finally got the draw (I have terrible luck with blood draws, apparently), they came in to tell me the life changing news….
“Unrelentless22, we don’t know for sure yet, but we are pretty confident you have leukemia”. I was so relieved, and literally said “Well, at least it isn’t cancer”…..
A year of treatment later, and I was in remission. 5 years of remission this coming July
Appreciate that. You’re so right about the mindset changes. It was instrumental to who I am now. I wish you and your family peace over the course of your treatment. I’m sorry life can be so unfair. #FuckCancer
I got diagnosed with Leukemia at 27. Fortunately not terminal, but the perspective change was swift.
NAH. It’s obvious it makes you insecure about how spontaneous and independent she is.
Honestly though, I’d be flattered that someone that aloof and carefree was wanting to choose me to be their partner. I feel like I’m a lot like you, and my girlfriend of the past year and a half has opened my eyes to living a life more akin to your girlfriend.
After a 9 year relationship where it was by the book, and boring as hell, I’ve really opened up to the truth that experiences are key to a happy and healthy life. If you can bring your brain around to the fact that this “independent” woman wants you to join her, and make them your adventures, I think you guys can have a very exciting life together.
If you don’t think you’re that person though, don’t go into it thinking you want to tame the beast. She’s just not for you, and sometimes that happens.
I wish you luck, and look forward to your next update!
Everything about him was great, except his solo part of the chapter…. character and performance though? Top fucking tier.
What Leader is giving a Team Member their KEYS TO THE STORE? Also “Closing registers” isn’t a difficult thing to do? When I was doing it, I walked around to Electronics, Pharmacy, lanes, food Ave and Guest Service…

I’m a bit older on the Millennial side, and I wish I didn’t care about sports. Brief dopamine, but mostly sadness and frustration
I think the guest was just trying to share what they noticed on the machine. Seems just informative, unless they then decided not to tip because of it. The “ok bitch, thx” comment doesn’t seem necessary.
I’m sorry my Miami Dolphins took a spot from the much more deserving Bengals. We’ll get out of the way next Saturday
I assumed he’d be Butch’s partner against Pretty Deadly, and if not, would return at rumble.
Time will tell.
Those days were my favorite days. Checking dates on products on the shelves while Super zoning. Zoning the back room Waco boxes and checking dates. Doing the little things you don’t get to do every day.
Nothing to do
