Heard this many times over the years. I was often accused of being smart too growing up. And am an asshole deep down inside, it just comes natural. But a favorite saying that i have no clue of where i first heard it is something like 'I am the universe but at the same time I realize that i am also the most insignificant particle of dust'. Spitting out info you learned recently doesnt qualify someone as smart to me any more, just means they have decent recall. 10 yrs later how much of that garbage do most ppl remember? Know what i remember? The ones that were kind without ulterior motives, were interested in me as a person or blew my fragile mind with a skill i could not do or imagine that they could do it either. Figure out whats really important to you in this world and find your joy wherever it takes you. Have gratitude for what you have and pay attention to your intentions. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Quit overthinking EVERYTHING and give everyone a chance to disappoint you in their own way even if they dont like your fav song. Good luck, meaningful change is difficult but worth it imo.
