I haven’t been on Carnival but really have no desire to. RCCL is great and I’m sure you would enjoy your time. I have never been affected by people being stupid drunk on any RC cruise I have been on. Princess, though, seems like the perfect fit. Typically much more chill and laid back. It doesn’t sound like you’re going to be hanging in the bars so your chances of drunk encounters are lessened. Most importantly go and have the best time. It’s all in what you make it.
